yes itīs a difficult time at the Moment. i went today to see him. He will be buried Wednesday. At least he has peace now and passed away in his sleep.

If one can chose how to go, passing away in their sleep is probably the best choice. -No drama and no anxiety. It would be my choice.

When I sleep, my dreams are epic, following detailed storylines. I have wondered if the dream just ends abruptly when you pass. It would be good to be able to finish the story first. Don't want to die mid-plot.

I assume you mean you have never been much of a dreamer. As I recall, you have issues with sleeping. One generally needs to sleep to dream.  ;)

Seems like you and your family really enjoyed the vacation. It looks like the break didn't do you any harm either. Good job!

I am taking little vacation breaks this summer. Not working out on Saturdays or Sundays. So far so good with this. But when fall comes, it is back to the grindstone for me!

Donny I am so sorry for your loss.  It must be very hard for your wife to lose her dad.  And Steve you look great after your vacation.  Good to read that you had a great time with your family.

Yesterday I trained chest and delts.  28/7/13

Incline db chest presses x 5 sets
Pectoral machine presses x 3 sets
seated db shoulder presses x 4 sets
standing db lateral raises x 4 sets

I was supose to do my cardio in the evening but pms just made me feel like sitting it out.  My stomach was so tender and sore as well as heavy sore breasts.  This morning 29th ( I am 12 hours plus ahead of the yanks and 8 hours ahead of Donny) I attempted to do cardio on the treadmill again but after a few mins got off, as I had pains running from my lower back all the way down to my calves.  So I stopped.  I will attempt it again early in the morning tomorrow.  Hopefully I should get my flow by then.  Once I get it, I am fine.

Nice workouts everyone .. i am having a day off Training today. I actually did some extra back and chest work last night at work. You know a bit like "staggered sets".. a set here and there and a superset when i fitted it in. The finishing off touches.

Just checking in....don't want you all to think I croaked! LOL.

Anyway, I am a bit bummed. Last Monday I went out to trim the ivy off the sidewalk on one side of our property. I ended up working in the yard for about 4 hours. I was sore when I came in and moving rather slow. Now my F***ing knee is giving me fits again and I am walking like a cripple. Looks like I may be having surgery after all. Here I thought it was all good, since I wasn't having any issues with knee pain when doing my leg workouts.

Here was a sight for sore eyes. I went to lunch with a friend of mine who is a couple of years older than I am. He has had both hips replaced and has a decided hiccup in his gate.  After lunch when we were crossing the street, I realized we looked something like the two characters in the movie Midnight Cowboy, with me being the Rizzo character played by Dustin Hoffman, since I was limping more than my friend was and he is a little taller than I am. Someone should have had a camera. That would have been a video for Getbig. We could title it two old geezers trying to beat the traffic light.
