so today another old School Blaster.... ;D

Power cleans
deadlifts
chins
rows
Parallel Bar Dips

sets will be 3-4 for the most but Dips i will do 5 sets....wait and see. cleans i have not done in Ages but i liked the clean and press. some of These old School powerlifting moves are fairly complex in nature and i must admit i am no master of them. i am sure guys like oltimer1 would correct me in my lifts. Kick my ass... ;D still enjoying my Change of training.

Great pics Steve......if I were you,I would think about doing a local Masters Class contest!  ;)

Maintained an awesome physique throughout the years brother.......not an easy task, especially with kids at home.

Props!!

Steve, you are he man! Darn, you are the epitome of all of us wannabes wish we could be.

Today was my last physical therapy session, There are no more excuses for me (particularly my wheels) but the rest of my magnificence is now under the microscope too since I can no longer hide behind my fucked up knee. Not to speak too soon, but this old (ancient) fart Is planning to give you comparatively speaking, young bucks a  run for your money.

Steve, you are my hero (no homo).

OK yesterdays workout........keep in mind that I hadn`t trained in over 2 weeks and haven`t squatted other than for one brief period in at least 6-7 years.

Lying Leg Sled:
6 plates-20
8 plates-15
10 plates-12

Leg Extensions:
70-15
90-12
80-12

Barbell Squats:
100-12
135-12
165-12
)^^^^ easing back into them and I will never go over 225 again in my life...........my lower back is ruined)

Lying Leg Curls:
50-20
70-12
90-10
80-12

Hyperextensions:
1X20 - (bodyweight)

Cybex Seated Leg Press Calf Raise:
5 sets to failure pyramiding up in weight, then back down to the original starting poundage.

MY LEGS ARE KILLING ME THIS MORNING!!!!    :'(

Feels good to have trained though after 2 weeks of eating crap and just relaxing/loafing!  ;)

Thanks bro, usually after a rare layoff,I`d come back using heavy weights and not be able to move for an entire week.

Playing it smart for once and starting out light and easing back up to my regular poundages.

Judging by the soreness in my quads, glutes, hams, and calves, that light weight was all that I needed so far!

I`m a hurtin` unit!  :(

Today,I did Chest + Back............Super-Setted them since I started on Tuesday instead of my normal Monday leg day,so I`m losing a day this week,so gotta` combine bodyparts on at least one day this week, as I don`t train on weekends unless preppping for a show.

Super-Set # 1:
{Smith Inclines:
115-15
135-12
150-10
{Pulldowns:
9 plates-12
10 plates-12
10 plates-12

Super-Set # 2:
{Cybex Seated Bench Press Machine:
7 plates-12
8 plates-10
8 plates-10
{Cybex Seated Rowing Machine:
7 plates-12
8 plates-12
8 plates-12

Super-Set # 3:
{Flyes:
1 X 15 reps with the 35 pounders
{Dumbell Pullovers:
1 X 12 with a 55 pound dumbell

Short and sweet, light weight of course until ready to increase, and very little rest at all.

It feels great to be back in the gym.

I can never come back to doing heavy squats after a layoff.
Whenever that would happen, I could barely climb stairs for a few days...lol.
Good to see you are back in the gym. Do you have a show you are planning this year?

Chest and Biceps workout tonight.

3 sets each, pyramiding higher in weight and lower in reps.

incline db press

dips

machine flyes

seated hammer curls

standing db curls

To be honest, it's a challenge watching the diet. I am taking some
advice I read on the board, and eating 4-5 meals each day with
chicken breast, brown rice, and veggies. And of course, lots of water.

I substitute country fresh eggs instead of chicken for breakfast, and add an apple instead of veggies. I add a banana an hour or so before working out.

A grilled ribeye steak is still in the works once a week. And a big plate of spaghetti as well.

No parent should ever lose a child. I have 2 sons, and I can't even imagine.

I am having a hard time wrapping my head around it. I drove over my daughter's house just to give her and the my grandson a hug.
