tell ya mature threaders are very cool,cinsiderate,genuine in there caring for situations that happen that we post,gerge'willie 'pm's me all the time and asks abot wife and general concern to pep me up,donny/jay/ken/have all been great ,,,jay/donny last yr close to this time kept me going dueing 2 month ordeal with back 'nerve 'issue which was tough but i got through it ,,2014 we will forge on...and of course WES return of our old soldier bbing,history/stories has been awesome for new yr...

calves 5 sets standing calf raise 2 sec pause at top/stretch to bottom hold..good pump

forearms
rollup weighted rope x3
reverse curls cable x4

did some extra tricep work too ,,overhead rope extensions x4 and dip machine x4,,did them monday so 4 day rest and hit em with some reps..

Thick dense muscle Steve...years of Hard work ! Looks very powerful too. Your legs are like 2 marble columns...today i rest another Day and then tomorrow i will hit it all again. Nice Change hitting full Body with the Basics. Just concentrating on squats,deads,rows, etc...

A true testament to consistancy, and just plain old keeping on............ as you got older over the years,physique hasn`t regressed one single bit.

You`re never out of shape,and could compete at any time once you made a commitment to a precontest diet........props!

Real wimpy workout again....my Triceps are so sore from doing pullovers that I  couldn`t do any Tricep movements that would even remotely stretch the Triceps........waaaay too sore!!

Lightweight,fast pace,good pump and not a bad workout considering that my Triceps feel torn.


Biceps/Triceps:

Super-Set #1:
{Cable Preacher Curls:
3 plates-15
4 plates-12
5 plates-12
4 plates-12
{Pressdowns:
5 plates-20
6 plates-15
7 plates-15
5 plates-20

Super-Set #2:
{Hammer Curls:
3 X 12 with the 30 pounders
{Triceps Kickbacks:
3 X 20 with the 20 pounders

Forearms:

Super-Set:
{Reverse Wrist Curls:
3 X failure with 25 pound E-Z Curl bar
{Wrist Curls:
3 X failure with 70 pounds

couple points ..
wes/donny are active in 2 great threads funk51's training pic and the old school build one..main point in those threads is to show
how truly bbing has regressed in training and builds,reliance on drugs,yes drugs were used and in some instances mightily but
those builds had great bases 'i assume'before using or using to get in shape with.

2..that is my ideal type as well lean'but not dry to bone'i,ve been there u have all seen my 'old'lol contest pics
unless i compete again its not practical for me to walkaround like'gali'24/7 but.....

3..i.. as wes has stated followed me over the yrs stay in great shape but its functional for life.. type of build to train heavy,eat clean'but with some of good things in life food wise '

4...diet i eat 5 protein meal sources per day,range from tuna/turkey/egg beater's 'detest cracking eggwhites or eating eggwhite version eggbeater did it for long time/some meat/chicken
carbs yes i eat in sometimes heavy/sometimes not depending on look i am going for or training day'legs day needs more energy..
'wes'elaborated on eating on fasted period and it works and i've done it ,morning workout on just cofee and last day's food sources
and have gotten great pumps from it as well/and your body when 'lean not contest but just good lean will look its best stomach is flat/and muscle aren't smoothed from too much sodium or carbed from morning breakfast say...interesting theory wes knows..

I am working soon so after work i will hit the cross Trainer for some cardio...feel pumped all over. i will after a few Months go back to a normal split.

My current routine:

Day 1-Chest&Biceps-30min & cardio 20-30 min
Day 2-Calves - 20min & cardio 30 min
Day 3-Shoulders - 30 min & cardio 20-30 min
Day 4-Forearms - 20 min & cardio 30 min
Day 5-Back&Triceps -30 min & cardio 20-30 min
Day 6-Calves -20 min & cardio 30 min
Day 7-Legs-30 min
Day after legs session is rest day and then back to business

Light to moderate weights, 10-15 reps per set as I am still in a fat burning routine until I get down to 8% bodyfat (10 currently) where I'd like to stay for a while.

I admire your commitment considering you have 3 kids and a wife who is not a big fan of your gym activities&dieting (same case here by the way. Sometimes I find it harder to cope with than any dieting :)
My wife's main complain is that I have my own groceries list and cook my own stuff but she should be happy as I am not asking her to do that for me.

lot of cardio there..i see its working good job,,i hate cardio do zero...lucky to have good metabolism still,training is fast paced little rest but still heavy weights on some movements,,that rest few minutes between heavy sets ,unless your setting a big 3 record is nonsense...keep posting pic updates its welcome here like to see progress,,g/o\board is for certain people who thrive for validation with pics,, here good ,honest critique and positive not 'you look like shit hope this helps's line...
