Think you got to find that sweet spot with cardio just the same as with weight training, donīt need t over do it like a mad man

some people "burn the candle at both ends" & end up looking like a weakling with no upper body strength.
like a guy i knew who just ran..ran..ran & always slagged off anyone who seriously weight trained, he himself couldnīt do one good pullup.
Just looked like a skinny, weak old man...now his back is destroyed from years of running & i see guys his age who weight train looking more youthful or guys just cycling around town looking fit.
