Today is Arm day and i will do my Supersets and i will throw in these 2 moves. These you never see being used and the barbell Tricep "kickback" is not to be confused with lying tricep "extensions". I will blast my arms today and pay special attention to my grip strength and squeeze the Dumbbell rods and then direct forearm training.( i read that Mentzer once said he developed massive lower arms by just squeezing the bars) :o Anyway enough talk::

Nothing from me again today.  It could have been the heat today, but I didn't feel well...was very lighted headed.  It's 50 degrees celicus in some places around here.  Birds are dying from the heatwave and they are telling people to put out bowls of water for them.

Well possibly, although I clean my home every week of spider webbs.  And I have a few geckos around which eat bugs and spiders, although I have much fewer geckos lately since one of my kittens is a real hunter and keeps killing them.  I had a spider once in my bedroom and it was the size of a humans head.  I was on my computer ready to go to bed and turn it off when I looked up and saw this massive spider on the wall in front of me.  My heart started pounding and as I moved to the door, it's eyes followed me.  I got a shoe and hit it and it chased me around the room and I screamed so loud that I am sure I woke up half the neighbours.  I did kill it.

Not letting the heatwave or spiders stop me from training today.   :P  I will just drink more water and keep my blood sugar levels from dropping.  It might have been a bit of the case yesterday since i was dizzy but heat didn't help also and it did make me a bit lazy.  I think it was still 40 degrees celicus at 2am when I got up for a drink of water.

Yes but I am only using it in the bedrooms because electricity has gone up 18 % since last year.  I am walking outdoors and getting to and from places and so I can't avoid the heat.  I don't think it's healthy either to constantly be in air con.

Here tonight the temperature is 1.6 celcius or 29 degrees farenheit. I am not running the air-conditioning, just the heat. Fortunately our place is fairly well insulated. I actually have not heard the furnace come on in the last hour. Our electric bill runs around $100 a month year around. The furnace is gas so that bill climbs a lot in the winter.

I think it will dry your skin too..or it does to me because i remember working all day in a gym with it and in summer it was on full blast..

Yes it's dehyrdating for the skin.  I always have to use a really good moisturizer at night when sleeping in air con.  Really air con is not healthy but in this extreme heat it's either that or keep waking up from sweating at the back of my neck/hair.

That's a really cosy temp to sleep to at night.  I have insulation too however Australia pays the most for electricity in the world even though we sell coal to other countries.  My electricity bill last year during summer was $75 per week, I am not kidding.  That was mostly for air con since I never used any hot water in showers because the cold water is very warm when it comes from the tap.  I only used hot water for dishes.  It's ridiculous what aussies pay for electricity.  I never remember it being this expensive but the government especially the greens want electricity so that its not affordable and that has basically what has happened.  Alot of aussies don't even use heating during winter for this reason because they can't afford it.  We are using less electricity than previous years.

Are you going to train abs after legs Donny?  I just would never do my abs first as I wouldn't want to tire then before squats.

karen my workout went totally diffrent. No i like to warm up with abs it warms my abs and lower back, i know what your thinking it will tire my "core" but i am OK. so it went like this today::
Abs and skipping as my original plan...

leg extension3x15 Superset with
squats 3x12

Leg curls 3x15 SUPERSET with
DB stiff deads 3x15 ( i know i was not going to do them but my head said DO THEM!!)
Calf raises as Original plan.

when i did the pre-exhaust superset with squats i squated down with a flat bench under my ass for safety as i really went for it. I am lying now on my couch like an old man,,, ;D Now with pre-exhaust some say you will reach cardio failure before muscle failure but as i do lots of cardio i can cope.

A good read about pre-exhaust wrote by Alan who i believe writes here too on getbig. A couple of exercises i do not like in the article, bench press to neck and sissy squats but a very good read...
