Legs - what else?

Squats, 3 sets of 25 reps @ bodyweight
Toe touches, 3 sets of 25 reps
Extensions, 3 sets of 25 reps
Kickbacks, 3 sets of 25 reps

I felt like I needed and wanted to do something to keep the blood flowing to my legs, especially the knees. The last couple of days my bum knee has been sore. I am not about to cave in to it. It actually feels a bit better today, so the exercises worked.

Hopefully, the hitting the gym is on the near horizon. Today my wife got the stint removed because she no longer needs dialysis since her kidneys have recovered to where they were before the acute kidney failure. It looks like this chapter in our lives is done, thank goodness! I won't miss the trice weekly trips to the hospital nor will Margie. This really frees up a lot of time for both of us. She still needs to do labs pretty often and see her doctors on a regular basis, but that's small potatoes compared to were we've been these past few months. Now I have no excuse besides sheer laziness for not making it to the gym.

nothing crazy on this one...i did something like this last workout or so,no drops oe supersets...i did a good superset last shoulder day last wk..

Gearing up for Monday when I plan to hit the gym and resume/resurrect my old weight bearing workout of times past. So tonight I repeated Thursday's routine.

Legs:

Squats, 3 X 25 @ bodyweight
Leg extensions, 3 X 25
Toe touches, 3 X 25
Kickbacks, 3 X 25

My wife commented that my legs looked skinny. Guess she's feeling better!

Currently weigh 195 lbs. standing 5' 10 3/4" with not much fat around my middle thanks to the testosterone and HCG injections. Never-the-less, I am soft, soft, soft and this has to end.

continuing punishing supersets 4th leg workout in row nice change and my knee flareup has healed nicely,the leg press at the gym is angled and not much room for foot placement so in think my knees took a load of it,,but i used it yesterday :P....glutton i guess lol

leg press superset with hack squats 'plates'3/4/5/6 and hacks 2/3/4/5 reps 10 x10

walking lunges 50 lb dbells and extensions 195/195/205/205 x3

hams
sldl and superset leg curls 135/185/235/245 and curls 140 lying 'girl jumped on between so i let her keep it lol'so i did seated then 180/195/195

calves
leg press and standing toe position out heels touching

sore today ;D...

I do leg extensions first as both pre-exhaust and warm-up when I am using added weight. It doesn't seem necessary with just bodyweight, at least not for me.

i've done extensions heavy at 1st did other movements and came back with light single leg squeeze holds for higher reps to finish..

Since the knee surgery, I've been doing extensions single leg. Otherwise, my good knee will compensate for the bum one and the development will be uneven.

went to the Gym did 45 mins bike, last night hard interval. I love it when it gets hard. so afterwards came the creme de la creme  ;D....

Dips 4Max superset with Close grip pull ups 4x max
Barbell rowing 4x8-10 with push ups using push up bars 4Max
Upright BB rows 3x10
Flat bench flys 3x8

just felt like doing chest+back today. Working tonight and it will be full Monday nights always are and Holiday time starts soon here. still on a positive note...will be lots of Girlies needing my Attention...Dirty Job but someone gotta do it... :D

one woman in the Gym is a School teacher about 31/32. Nice Body a bit plain but i like intelligent women. She writes to me on whats app... i have kept it very civil in my Messages. she always asks when iīm there and last night i wrote i would be in the gym doing Training about 12 noon here. she came a bit later as i finished but wrote last night she wanted to Train together. I want to do it Guys but i donīt know... :-\ She is straight but is ok if you know what i mean... funny i seem to attract women with intelligence. Last one was also intelligent... like how she spoke, you know pillow talk.

If you are asking us, are you suggesting that you aren't sure you can trust yourself with her? If you believe you can't, then I would say you shouldn't put either of you in that position. If you can just be workout partners and friends (without benefits), then go for it.

Attraction is a mystery. Do you not consider yourself worthy of intelligent women's friendship? Having worked in education for 30 years, I met my share of teachers who I did not consider particularly intelligent. It is a myth that all teachers are intelligent people. Additionally, many lack common sense.

Followed through on my intent to hit the gym today. Not only that, I worked out with free weights, doing my old routine that I have not done since last August. Today I worked arms.

Alternate dumbbell curls, 4 X 12 to 8
Standing triceps pressdowns, 5 X 15 to 8
cable EZ curls, 4 X 12 to 8
Overhead triceps extensions, 4 X 15 to 8
Concentration curls, 3 X 12 to 8
Dips, 3 X 12 to 8
Nautilus forearm machine with 4 stations, 4 X 15 to 12
Reverse EZ curls, 3 X 10 to 6
Nautilus Ab crunches, 3 X 25

Finished in about 45 minutes. Only rested max 1 minute between sets. No cardio today.

Tomorrow I'll work hams and calves.

Earlier today my wife and I took a couple of boxes of Edible Arrangements to the people at the dialysis center. Edible arrangements are basically fresh fruit dipped in chocolate and decorated. The staff there seemed both surprised and appreciative. Afterwards, I took my wife out to a nice restaurant for a long lunch. When we got home, I took advantage of the good weather and mowed the lawn. I will probably crash early tonight.
