Today, 15 sets of back. 5 sets Smith machine rows, 5 sets pulldowns and 5 sets of t-bar rows. 15 sets of bicep, 5 sets each of barbell curls, Scott curls and finally alternate DB curls. Finished off with 10 sets of wrist curls, 5 sets each direction.
The weight is necessarily (and embarrassingly so) light. Of late I have done as many as 62 sets in 53 minutes. All are done in the old "Giant Set" manner with little to no rest between sets of five different exercises in a row for example, for my back or chest. Fun times indeed! I still prefer H.I.T, but that requires so much effort/weight for the three or so sets per bodypart that my muscles and joints hurt for over a week later from one workout.
I am sore now, but not like when I train Mentzer's way. I have been dieting for the fourth week now, having dropped 20 pounds so far. Mostly tuna and boiled eggs, ground beef, turkey and roast beef. Water, milk and iced tea for drink
A friend gave a trial of a pre-workout drink mixture called "Mesomorph" and it actually helps me to train on an otherwise empty stomach, which I normally can't stand doing.
Anyhoo, that's it for now.
