Did absolutely nothing physical yesterday. Maybe the same today. Just spend from working out and drinking Friday and Saturday. Monday I'll hit it hard.

iŽve done short workouts Ala Stuart mcrobert such as (Workout1) squat, bench press,pullup.....(workout 2)seated press, deadlifts, dips. worked well. DonŽt think iŽve done Benches with deads, squats. work it all though.

Anyone get anxiety prior to a work out? Sitting here wasting time on this site knowing I have a killer back and chest workout coming. Feeling the stress. A friend told me it's because every time I train I go for broke instead of having some coasting workouts. I guess it's my obsessive personality. Just full of anxiety. Just have to put 135lbs on the bar and start my power clean warm ups.  >:(

-Just checking in and saying hi to you all. Keep up the good work. I am headed out for a walk up the hill in a little while. The good news is the walk home is all down hill.  ;D

I can't believe I am still catching up on my sleep/schedule a week after returning from Germany. Went to bed at 9:30 last night and slept until 8:30 this morning. Whatever happened to the guy who was a night owl?

The remodel is going along slowly. As it turned out, we had to tear out not only the underlayment, but the sub-floor upstairs. Seems the  underlayment was glued to the sub-floor. When the crew tried tearing it out, it was ruining the sub-floor. Anyhow, we have a new 3/4" plywood sub-floor waiting for the install of 3/4" Beech flooring and tile in the bathroom. It would have been easier to move to a new place than to remodel. It might have been less expensive too.

Prime that would drive me crazy. I just had the interior of my house painted. The guys were here almost two weeks. Just don't like workers in my house. One of them was even a friend of mine. He did time for killing a guy and even has another kill that was ruled justified but that's another story. I got friends in high and low places. Just drove me crazy that we felt they were guests in my house and felt obligated to feed them. They soon expected lunch and dinner every day. They even did a half ass job in places but I didn't ride them because again the head guy was a friend down on his luck out of prison.

I use to live in a small house with my wife and 4 kids and had to make a decision to bump out the small house in a relatively expensive neighborhood or buy a big house in a less expensive town. I went for the big house 3000 sq ft. The guys from NJ can vouch for how expensive real estate is in NJ. In the end I wonder if I made the right decision from a money stand point. The smaller house in the expensive neighbor is worth more than my 12 year old house that's twice the size.

Not quite only the big three but when I was a teenager I competed in powerlifting one time as a light weight. It was basically the big three with a few extra exercises. I have some memories of doing a month of squat, deadlift, bench, bar row, and military for awhile when I was about 18 or so. I read it was a good bulk routine and when I was young I was foolishly all about gaining weight through any means possible. Now I'm all about losing weight. Being lean beats being a perma bulker every time. Wish I could undo all those gain weight shakes I drank for about 15 years.
