Yesterday sucked.  I tried and got through 8 total sets between back and chest.  Tried for some intensity for immensity!   ;D

Ah well... Today I knocked out 16 sets of shoulders followed by 11 set   for biceptuals and 15 for triceptuals.  10 sets of alternating DB curls followed by one set of curls with non-Weider arm blaster with a straight (no homo) bar with a massive 40 lbs on it.  If only I had used a Weider bar, I would've quintupled the weight!

10 sets of tricep pushdowns and then  5 sets of close grip machine bench presses.  At roughly 6 feet tall (sometimes I like to say, 5' 11 and 15/16ths inches!)  I weighed in a 187 the other morning.  My body fat is just that - FAT.  The device I use to measure it still says I am 20%.

I am beginning to think the only cure for my problem is more cowbell.  Or something.  Train on gentlemen!

Maybe there is something amiss with your fat measuring device. It is hard to believe you could be at 20% fat at that weight and height.

I weigh 184 lbs. and am currently only a little over 5'9 1/2". I once was just shy of 6' but old age and spinal disk compression has shrunk me. Although I have not measured my fat lately, when I was 30 or so pounds heavier, I had it measured and it was 12%. There is really nowhere on my body today that you can pinch more than an inch, as they say.

Yesterday was back and chest along with abs.

Since I got 19 reps on pull ups the last time I did them I added 10 pounds to my bodyweight and got 11 on the first set.  The next two I made it to 8 and 5.  Palms facing in and about twenty or so inches apart which is about 1.5 Heaths in diameter according to my official GetBig measuring tape.  ;D

Smith Machine Rows for 5 sets of 20 down to 5 reps.
DB Rows for 3 sets of 5 reps.

Smith Machine Incline Bench Presses for 6 sets of 10 down to 3 reps.
Machine Bench Press for 3 sets of 20 down to 3 reps.
Flat Bench Flys done as the Oak did them so very long ago for 3 sets of 10 reps.

Machine Sit Ups for 5 sets of 30 down to 10 reps.

Today is doctor day.  I still got up "early" at 3:30 am.  I have to go look at a new Dodge Ram as I now own a Mustang and it is very difficult to get in and out of due to my stoooopid leg.  ;D

If all goes well with the doc I will try to train tomorrow.  Be well gentlemen.
I donīt think Jay.. Scotty is 20% either with his Chins. A very modest man  ;D

Giant sets are advanced but i normally do them with opposite muscle groups, not supersets but for one muscle group is super intensive

Maybe there is something amiss with your fat measuring device. It is hard to believe you could be at 20% fat at that weight and height.

That could well be as it is one of those electronic devices that measure your fatness via resistance to a  minor electronic pulse.  Like you, I have lost height and muscle mass over the years having been 6' 1.5" in my youth and weighed as much as 250 lbs.

I feel fluffy.  Dammit!  ;D

I suspect a lot of folks return to their the body type they are genetically predisposed to. Both my parents were rails. I was unbelievably skinny as a kid. The only time my weight has increased is when I have been working out heavy and consistently. Whenever I've laid off the weights, I've lost weight, but then I also eat during these times too.

It is also possible that with being on HRT, it has kept me from getting fat or flabby. I have lost muscle in the last couple of years. This is directly related to the fact, I believe, that I have not been working out consistently.

It is my intention to rectify this as soon as possible. I've allowed a lot of day to day distractions to interfere with my working out. I don't see these things going away anytime soon. It looks like I need to go back to being a little bit selfish with my time, leaving more time for me and perhaps a little less for the other people in my life.

At 70 years of age, I have no delusions that I will suddenly develop a great physique, but I don't intend to let that tarnish my goals.

Shoulders and arms this morning.

5 sets of 10 on DB Laterals.

5 set of 10 BB Press with only 20 pounds.  Damn that hurt.  I am beginning to think todays brofessionals do so many partial reps because their joints just hurt too damn much.  I know mine do.

5 sets of 10 reps Alternate DB curls.

5 sets of 10 reps on BB curls.

5 supersets of overheard tricep press and tricep pushdowns 10 reps each exercise.

5 sets of close grip machine bench press at 10 reps each.

As Porky Pig would say, Th Th Th That's all folks!    In a short while I will head out for a health food shoppe to get a basic multi-vitamin/mineral tablet and maybe some B12.  In the seventies I would go through Schiff's Liver Tabs like a pig through slop.   ;D
