Nice. Anytime you're available, I have four dogs you can walk. Living in the hills of West Linn, walking them here is quite the cardio workout. Just getting their collars on is something of a workout since they get so excited whenever they know they are going for a walk.

Great cardio workout .. used to love walking around a localpark as a kid with our German Shepherd..
Today i worked chest.

Decline Barbell press 4 sets
Decline flys 3 sets
incline Barbell press 4 sets
incline Flys 3 sets

Calfs on leg press 5 sets.  Cardio running outside.
Rich... i saw a guy running with the Light you spoke about. wearing it on his head.. Looked a bit weird.. ;D

NICE I'M HITTING THOSE DECLINES NOW 4-5 WKS AND PULLOVERS MAYBE A BIT LONGER..CHANGED THINGS UP FOR A BIT,,MY STRENGHT IS SO/SO ON DECLINES THEY WERE EASIER 20 YRS AGO  :P

we all feel like that Steve... as long as i get results and stay in shape i´m not too worried about the weight..

I AGREE ..I CAN'T BE AS STRONG PLATES WISE ON EVERYTHING LIKE BACK/LEGS WHERE THE 45'S I CAN PILE ON AND STILL REP OR MOVE CONSISTENT AND GREAT RANGE/FORM...

This is absolutely not may favorite procedure. The prep is the worst part though. At least when they stick the roto-rooter up my rear end, I am knocked out. I only have to do this once every five years, thank goodness.

When I went in for the pre-visit, I got turned down for the procedure because I was having an episode of atrial flutter. I explained what it was to the physician's assistant, but he acted like I didn't know what I was talking about. He told me I had to get it cleared by my primary care physician. So here I am a couple of months later, the prep kit is in the cupboard and I have yet to reschedule the colonoscopy. I'll get right on it....soon.

The usual back and chest routine today but after getting 19 pull ups on my first set it was difficult to do more/  The next two sets were both maxed out at 6 reps each set.  I included 3 sets of T-Bar rows to mix  things up and also cable crossovers for my chest instead of DB flyes.  It was a good workout.

Not great, just good.  Nothing wrong with good.  Tomorrow will be shoulders and arms.  I did only one set of shrugs last time so tomorrow I will up a bit with 2 or 3 sets of DB shrugs.

fdb press 'increasing reps on heaviest set 'was kinda goal here 'lost a lot here when I pinched nerve few yrs ago'its close ..
55 warmed 15.....70/80/85..was stuck at 5 or so ..I think I hit 8/9 now,,i like to get 90/95's again..
decline press x3
inc flyes..45/50/55
pullovers dbell 65/75/80 love these again...
pec deck x3 squeeze these

tri's
trisets dip machine/seated extension/rope pushdowns x3
cable kick backs x3 to finish..

abs

so workout tonight was...

20 mins cycling..
I did straight sets tonight.

Squats 4 set
Seated leg curls 4 sets
Leg press 4 sets
Stiff deadlifts 4 sets

seated calf raises 5 sets. Abs: Machine crunch 3 sets with Leg raises off a flat Bench 3 sets.

Yesterday I ran a hard 5 miles. I was so exhausted that my left hand was shaking bad like Parkinson's. It went away after about 20 minutes but I found it disturbing. Wife wants me to see a doc.

Today I trained chest and arms. No warm ups listed.

Bench 2 x 6 then 1 x 1 (I'm hell bent on ruining my shoulder)
Incline bar bench 2 x 6
Flat Flies 2 x 10
Push ups 2 x max

EZ bar curl 2 x 10
Straight bar pulley curls 2 x 10
Concentration curls 2 x 12

Weighted dips 2 x 6
regular tricep pushdowns 2 x 10
Single arm reverse grip holding a D handle tricep extensions 2 x 12

four arm wrist curls 2 x 20
reverse wrist extensions 2 x 15

Weighted crunch with legs on bench 1 x 50
Pulley crunches 2 x 30

Ivanko gripper 2 x 20

Took a couple hour break and ran 8 x 400 meter repeats. Left hand shook a little this time but not much.

Trying to lift every other day. I have high hopes of being to be able to have a cardio day and a lifting day. Using a three day split now. 1. chest and arms. 2. legs and finally 3. back and delts.  Trying not to be so competitive about increasing the weight and hopefully be happy with slow progression. I follow a pattern of training like a lunatic then burning my self out. Hopefully I will use a slower progression so I can keep a good cardio program.

I had a business lunch with two fellow board members today who look really out of shape. They started talking about hitting the gym, I felt left out because....well you get it. Tomorrow, come hell or high water I am going to the gym. Nothing is going to stop me. This is ridiculous! Someone slap me upside my head.

i hit the Gym yesterday....and tomorrow again....it´s like breathing air, drinking water, eating breakfast...longest breaks in more than 34 years lasted about 3 weeks (after injuries....).

Training now close to 35 years, been 51 yrs + some months young ::), 6 "2,5" inch tall :), yesterday 258 lbs. drugfree/Natural. Starting dieting down about 20-25 lbs. (i guess it takes about 12-15 weeks). Started a moderate carb (400g), high Protein-diet (300 g), medium-fat (50-70g) 5 days ago at 260 lbs.
Did a latspread "just for fun" yesterday in the middle of back training.
