-Don't know. I haven't been on the market, so to speak. From what I see at the local Starbucks, I'm not sure they are any "more normal" than the younger women are. West Linn women = bleached blond hair with streaks and a perfect cut, fake titties, yoga pants, loads of make up, (on the mature females it's to cover the scars from plastic surgery) and skinny like a runner because they take "mood enhancers", such as a 4 or 5 shot Venti Americano, iced (because it's hot here right now) and those chemical energy pills that make them all fidgety too. At least women of a certain age are no longer looking to make a baby with you. That's a blessing. Don't want children younger than my grandchildren or great-grandchildren for that matter.

-Noticed when I am surfing porn websites (as I rarely ever do

) , someone looking all sexy pops up on my computer screen to tell me she's just a mile away and is looking for a goodtime right now and to come on over, (not their actual words, but I don't want to be crude). These pop-ups are harder to get rid of than woman in love with you.

Women - EVERY woman has some level of insanity. What a man has to do - should he decide to live the married life - is find a woman whose level of "crazy" he can deal with. The sooner a woman shows you her inner cookoo the more likely her level of crazy is intolerable.

Depends on what part of "New York City" you're talking about.

Nobody is living anywhere in Manhattan on $80k.

There are probably places in other boroughs you can live comfortably for under $100k depending on your family situation (no homo).

Minimum wage is set by the state (not the city) and is $8.75/hr in New York.

Getbiggers are all salaried or run their own businesses though.

You cant live anywhere in manhattan on 80K. You can live anywhere else on 80K if youre single. Queens, Brooklyn, Bronx, Manhattan.

Born and raised NYC--34 years.

80K with a wife, 2 kids, mortgage, and 1-2 cars, yeah, thats going to be REALLY tough. Wife pretty much has to work at that point.

I was thinking the same thing. I guess if you live in some Podunk little place where no one wants to be, you could get by on less. Truthfully, statistics suggest that a single person living on an income of $80,000 is doing very well. Just try and tell the IRS otherwise and see what happens.

$8.75/hr, going up to $9.00 at the end of the year. That being said, $750 - 1100/wk, would be the average weekly wage range for most NYers in the city with some years work experience under their belt.

How does this work for hourly employees who actually live in NYC? Are they all making well above minimum wage and/or working two full-time jobs?

It sounds like people who live in NYC and make 20-30k a year are pretty much starving, wth
