Bearing in mind its the sugar and caffine that causes all those issues then having a sweet cup of coffee does exactly the same.

Move along now..nothing to see here.

Coffee without sugar is both much cheaper than soda and much healthier.

Cola and such imo do not belong in an serious bodybuilding diet.

Overall I think that's a good practice.   Little else will expand your waistline faster.

If you aren't a soda addict then having one once in awhile is fine, but I find that folks that don't drink sodas RARELY crave one and when they do indulge they drink half a can and feel lousy afterwards.

Now, are they delicious?  Yes sir!!

Still, best practice is probably to avoid 99.9% of the time.  I struggle with that because I do enjoy a good Coke.  Some like beer, some like wine, some like fruit juice, some like Coke.

I can't stand the folks that say, "why not just drink water?"  Wanna know why?  Cause shut your filthy piehole that's why.  ;D

When I used to smoke, my Nan once said to me in Cypriot tones "Daniel, why you smok dis?" I said "Because I really enjoy it Nan." she replies "Why don you jus stop?" hahaha

Also you can switch it up and little, and pour the vodka staight into the can to keep your liver guessing and growing.

Pour out 85-90% of the Coke and add Ciroq Amaretto vodka {Yes I know it sounds homo} and you have a fantastic drink!

Can you take it during the creatine loading phase, or is it best to wait until I taper off?

Isn't suicide against the bible?

Research has shown that eating and drinking unhealthy food shortens the lifespan.

You don't do drugs because it goes against your religion. Doing drugs is bad and will kill you. Coca Cola will do the same thing. How do you justify this?

Or are certain bad things okay for you?  :-\ :-\

Was waiting for this question....not necessarily from you, but in general...response at the ready.

Within scripture drinking alcohol isn't outlawed, but being drunk is.  The idea is moderation; although, if you're within a situation in which even moderate consumption of alcohol is an issue for another (in that it can lead to sin) you should simply refrain in that moment.

Same with sodas.  A bit of consumption won't harm you, but excess consumption most certainly will.   It's about moderation and not allowing something to become an idol of sorts....even food and drink can become an idol.

If your body is unhealthy then work to get it healthy.  Work in accordance with God's good will and purposes.

I do use drugs for medical purposes, but I don't use drugs for recreational purposes, the pursuit of narcissism or when it breaks the law.   It's about the item becoming an idol of sorts and/or your mind losing sight of God and his will for you.

Perfection isn't possible in our lives, but the path of sanctification via the Holy Spirit should help lead the believer in pursuit of perfection spiritually, intellectually and physically.

In summary, an occasional Coke will not harm most people's bodies unless some very specific medical condition impacts an individual.  A 6-pack of Cokes per day would certainly harm most anyone.  All foods are deemed appropriate and clean for consumption, but moderation is key.  It's what comes out of the body that defiles a person.

So, a little weed, a little coke, will most likely not harm you on the long run either. Is that okay, too?

Remember, weed and coke are against the law, but those are man-made laws, not biblical laws.

Thus, its okay in Gods eyes to do a little coke, a little weed, as long as its in moderation and no bodily harm is done?

Respectfully disagree. I'm one who has to watch their caffeine intake, so Caffeine Free Diet Coke is the Coke of choice for me.

Yep, was waiting for the follow-up reply about recreational drug use.

Off the bat, what we have is a non sequitur...."a little Coca-Cola consumption in moderation is fine, therefore a little recreational cocaine use in moderation is fine."   No, doesn't follow.

Also, the original Coca-Cola formula may have contained fragmentary traces of cocaine, but not the Coke formula we drink today...throwing that out there also.

Marijuana and cocaine alter the mind even temporarily and can lead to an absolute addiction....idolatry.

Recreational consumption of marijuana and cocaine is outlawed by our government with some allowances for medical marijuana...I think even cocaine is used medically.  We are instructed in scripture to abide by the laws of our government provided they don't stand in direct opposition to God's law.

Use of drugs recreationally (in that they alter our minds unnecessarily) is a sin and is found under the idea of sorcery in scripture.  I've discussed sorcery and it's greek root "pharmakeia" previously and repeatedly.

Drugs that are used lawfully by licensed, medical professionals for specific medical issues is an altogether different issue.   I've used hydrocodone and it makes me feel loopy temporarily, but it's use is related to a specific medical purpose so I see no issue.

In summary, recreational use of marijuana and cocaine violates governmental law (which believers are instructed to follow), can lead to idolatry via addiction, is often associated with wild partying (which believers are to avoid) and engaging in sorcery which is mind altering and takes our focus off of God whom we serve.

Can you pintpoint the exact biblical verse that says exactly that?

Because there are many religious people who think otherwise, i.e., the stupid religious parents who prayed for their childs diabetes to go away, instead of giving him one shot (they prayed instead), which could have saved his life. The stupid religious nutters were charged with manslaughter.
