Most countries should pull an Ireland. Promise to take in lots of people then never actually do anything. Helps when you're an island but it seems to work.

Idiots in governenment (well, the labour part of coalition) promised to taken in thousands of refugees. They also promised to fix homelessness, end child poverty etc. Of course they will never do any of these things. Meanwhile hungary etc get overrun with economic migrants and dickheads in northern europe say "let them all in" while letting poorer countries like hungary take all the impact and calling them racist when they act.

The problems is the UN and the EU, I support in total Russian and Chinese approach to this problem. Europe is now a shitehole and is less than a decade away from a civil  war, the whole of Europe will be made to feel how the Serbs felt when the levels of immigrants rise in certain parts of their countries to be the majority and look for independence similar to Kosovo and Bosnia, liberal governments have no idea the problems they are leaving theirs kids for the future.

Many live in areas where they're insulated from their ideology.  It's easy to talk to great civil rights game or a pro immigrant game when you live on a college campus or in an area that's 99% white.

When Ferguson was in the news, there was a group of English girls who protested racism from the safety of their lily white town. If those pasty faced Brit twits spent a day in a shithole like Ferguson, they be looking for the exit.
