Glutamine, Fish Oil and Stretching
« on: September 14, 2015, 10:03:02 AM »
As I approach my 50th birthday and am training regularly again, I find myself quite sore. I take 10mg glutamine and 5 g fish oil daily and do maybe `10 minutes dynamic and static stretching. Im just looking for input as to helping with the soreness. I realize there will be some, but Im pretty fucking sore. Dont say TRT, there is no way in hell I would ever take test for the rest of my life

Then it's just rest and diet.  As you get older the body's digestive system isn't as efficient.  Smaller meals throughout the day.  Just graze on protein rich food.

Fish oil works best at much higher doses, lousy 5g while probably beneficial won't do much at all. Jack that right up to 20-30g, don't worry its safe.
Whenever u start up training you are always gonna be sore for couple weeks no matter what you do.
Obviously massage and hot baths can help.

L-Glucosamine and sugar free Jelly are good for joints.
I wouldn't just take Glutamine on its own, I would take it with the other BCCA and again up that to 20g a day, maybe more for you cos you are 300lb.

If you want to substantially increase your GH levels intermittent fasting works well for that.
Also eat tons of raw salad and vegetables.

Also take DIM your estrogen will be out of control at your weight no doubt.

If you do the Nevermore pic I will never talk to you again

I used to have a nutrition company that sponsored me.I got zippo from Glutamine and I experimented with a ton of different dosages.........of course I was on a ton of other shit also.

Just ride it out Josh..............I squatted today for the first time in ages.......I`ll be fucked for at least 3-4 days tops, but it`ll dissipate over time.

Just part and parcel with starting up training again after a layoff.

Vitamin C is great though..........megadose s 3 X a day...........at least 1 gram.

OB1 approved.
Preferable natural.
Like from acerola fruits for example.
Official guidelines are vastly underdosed.
Vit C repairs everything.

Just buy and eat several Kiwi's a day. You will get way more Vitamin C from that and the tabs.
I don't trust any processed shit.

whats that?

There's much better vids out there, I just grabbed the first one with a female.......research more if you want but this works....especially on the legs....takes getting used to though - I'm at the point where I can use a baseball, pain free.

But do the whole leg - quad, hammy, sides, etc....
