Common trait i've seen from guys who don't drink or do any kind of drugs are that they're narcissist and don't know how to be humble...It's not a 100%. Also these guys can't be trusted. I believe it was the great Bob Chick(who was once a cop)said, he has never touched a recreational drug or even taking a sip of beer. lol. The dude is 50 pounds overweight. A total Narcissist and now has cancer and no one on the planet would trust him(really) as far as they could throw him...Oh ya, and he wears a hair helmet because of insecurity and vanity  :-\

Two glasses of wine a night, three on the weekends. Don't do hard alcohol except for maybe a Cadillac margarita on rare occasions.

Id drink the odd time with the lads if it didn't make me sick as fuck, but it does so I don't touch it. The last time I drank we got a lift Iinto the city to a club off one of the lads sisters and I got her to stop the car, I apparently commandeered the road and vomited loads, was fine then til the next day when I spent it all in bed vomiting

Not often. A few beers when I take the lady out to dinner once a week. Whenever I go camping I get shitfaced on whiskey every night. Going on a canoe trip tomorrow. Have to portage a few miles everyday, yet I'm bringing 3 bottles of whiskey for 6 days. Every ounce on your back makes a difference so I really shouldn't. My friends say I have a problem but the only time I drink is in front of a fire.

I hope I am not among that "group", LOL!  I lived the example for my children and my wife.  My wife will not have a glass of wine if I am there as she says I make her feel "uncomfortable" but if she is with her friends during Christmas, for example and I am working, she will have a glass.  My daughter will have the occasional glass of wine too.  So far my son does not drink alcohol and while that is what I would prefer, he is an adult. 

I was told once by a family member that I should lighten up and try wine or beer, especially during the holiday season.  Even though I am adopted I will not risk it.  Stupid?  Nope.  Just cautious.

I can understand that, Scott.

My dad was not good with alcohol. It did him in a bad way and is a huge part of why I try to be very responsible with my drinking.

I don't want to be so out there that I do some of the things he did.

I`ve never seen anything good come from drinking excessively............s ocially is a totally different animal as long as you can distinguish between the two.

Thanks Joe,I know quite a few personally that have done just that.

Kind of like going from body abuse to trying to achieve their own personal body perfection whatever they view that as.

Beer is gross,i used to drink it by the gallon many years ago,now i cant believe i used to drink that much as its truly disgusting.

Depending on the size of the glass, this could be quite the huge quantity of scotch. I drink scotch neat. A couple of fingers of scotch is enough to give most folks a bit of a buzz.
