Be that as it may, it does not change the fact that the OP is doing nothing. Neither improving nor leaving, just being inert and weak.

Plus I disagree with you that hard work is no longer rewarded. Yes, a lot of managers are shit. But until the time ALL managers are shit, there are still ways to move forward. Claiming all managers are ass-kissers and therefore are holding you back sounds to me like an easy excuse to do nothing.

So I'm in college and work at a restaurant in a country club and I have 2 bosses. i have been picked on and singled out for about a good 2 months now by one particular boss, he'll say things like "you know I worry for you because I don't think you'll ever make it in life" or "you are the biggest idiot I've ever met" "your girlfriend must be awesome at making life choices for dating you" "you have got to be fucking kidding me how much stupider can you get" and more comments like that. They are giving me the empty/never seated sections of the restaurant and give me tables that don't tip a lot. Also I have the lowest hourly out of every server, even a new person there who got hired a month after me got a higher starting pay for no reason. How do I deal with this situation. My other boss is the one who gives me horrible sections and then I get blamed for everything even if it has nothing to with me like someone forgetting to do their side work before they leave.

It is almost becoming a requirement to record everything nowadays between manager and employee. Had two circumstances with both my wife and i's jobs recently that managers blatantly lied to owners, etc. to save their own skin, etc. My manager actually told me to lie about several things for sale purposes. Told him that I would not lie for him or this company.
