Didn't think you'd go through it, but like I said. It's my believe (backed with evidence and I usually don't commit to anything without evidence so it's not like I woke up one day and said "I think I'll become a born again Christian today". It's my belief and I stand by it.

A good book to refute what you say is: The Case for Christ by Lee Stroble. He was just like you..an atheist until he did research and the evidence was overwhelming. Google his name and you can do the rest...I'm done with this subject!

Do me a favor and commit some time to reading some ATHEIST or anti-christian sites for a change and tell me what you think about them. Read some articles on them. I've read about every major pro-christian apologetic site on the net and let me say that I can refute ALL of their arguments. Do some research and then come back with a well put together argument (In your own words) backed with sources and I'll refute it in a few minutes. Explain why you believe in a God..The evidence of a God..Evidence for christianity..Evidence for jesus..Against evolution..ect..ect I'll be more than happy to set you straight. I'm not at home right now but i'll do it within a day or two if you post it today.

I'm sorry but I don't respect ignorance. If you really believe in a big guy in the sky who watches over you,That the entire earth was flooded and some guy named noah got all of the animals into an arc,That a God made the world knowing before hand people would sin and made them anyway just to go to hell..and then sent himself down to earth to be born to a virgin just to die on the cross for sins that he himself defined to save people when he himself could easly save them with the snap of a finger..That he came down to earth and literally prayed to HIMSELF since that is what jesus did..Prayed to a God..If jesus is God he's praying to himself.

That's the difference between religion and science isn't it? Scientists are willing to DEBATE their ideas..they actually WANT to debate to learn. Religious nuts never want to debate and just want to be left alone to their absurd beliefs without any criticism of them..And when questioned they get defensive.

What i find so funny is that most christians will put SOOO much "faith" in a book that was written 2000 years ago by some MEN.  They have no real proof that god ment that book to be "HIS" words any more then say the koran or any other religious text.

Why would god condem ANY man to a "hell" when there are plenty of hells on this earth now.  

I believe in some form of a creator but the christian god he is not.  To think that the CREATOR of all, would hate any aspect of anything he has created, is just rediculious.  Why would he hate a "evil" person's action if he created the very actions that they are doing.  

In the next few decades christianity will have to go through some sort of reformation cause atm the views are so far past a logical person's thinking.

  THis is because they are talkin about human instincts.  They apply to almost any time in history when dealing with humans. 

But many other books can make the same claim that they apply to today or 1000 years ago..............Oh my humans stole, lied, killed, had problems with emotions, and spirituality 2000 years ago just as they did today.. Ohh my.

Nothing to lose.  How about common sense, or logical thinking.  Many things can be lost when u belive in things that just defy all logic.  We have evolved greately over the past 2000 years and we know much more today then we ever have in any part of history. So to blindly belive in somethig that has very little fact based behind it or even common sense by todays standards, is very dangerous/self destructive.

Well I will be man enough to admit when I am wrong,rather than argue about it for page after page.  but you do know that the christian faith does not promote or condone violence toward non believers.,simply because they are non believers..things are not the same as they were then (for lack of a better way of saying it)....but you made your point.I am not disagreeing with your argument about the unrealistic tales in the bible.Like I said I was force fed that stuff as a child, and I do not honestly know wheather or not I even believe .

That's simply because most christians don't follow the bible 100%. They like to ignore those terrible horrible things in the Bible like "Baby bashing" "Stoning children" "Killing homosexuals" "Torturing infidels"..ect..ect. They never mention on these things in church...99% of the time in Church the pastor or reverend or whatever just talks alot of mumbo jumbo about his personal interpreation of the bible(Another sin,Interpreting the bible) that no one understands but you still see everyone nodding their heads in agreement!
Christians like to ignore those atrocities in the bible yet criticize the Koran for saying the exact same thing...Hypocrisy.

In reality the Bible itself was composed by an ancient people with ancient knowledge of the world and society..That's all. Nothing to be followed in modern times.
Modern Christians only know about the Bible what they were taught in Church and 99% of whom have never read it themselves..If they did they probably wouldn't be Christians anymore..Or believe in the Bible for that matter.

Religious people don't think for themselves they meerly assume what they are being told by their parents and church leaders is true. They never investigate into it or think about it. When they encounter opposition to their beliefs they usually get extremly defensive and are completly unable to defend their beliefs(As is evident by FRED)... It's a shame.
