Ripped? More like ripped up.
In all fairness though, a lot of the older guys who have been pounding the weights hard all the time for years and years... their lats seem to be the first to go. I talked to Haney and Taylor before about this and they told me that many of the pros they knew that suffered from this is because they have totally blown out their RCs, labrums, and have severe tendonitis/bursitis/arthritis in their shoulder regions that make flexing and expanding the muscle outwards impossible.
