Regarding Steve Reeves and when he was in his best shape ........
Check out a 1954 MGM movie production called "ATHENA". Steve had a role in that movie and he was in great shape for a couple of scenes.
It's available on DVD if you can find it.

Very impressive physique.
Indeed. And by judging the shoulders you can also see that he is natural.

The Iatomasi family. Father in middle with two sons.. good size arms and waist. Look much better than most these guys who take juice and walk around with fat guts and deformed shoulders. Respect to them.

Too much trash talking.. more naturals looking good. People take drugs and look like nothing because they dont push themselves to eat and train right. Thats what it is.

Exactly. Those juicers look like shit. They lack discipline and don't want to train and eat right.

I definitely agree with Goudy. Your genetic shape dictates the fullness of your shoulder girdle but that does not mean you cannot improve on what you where given.

I competed in the lightweights in that show at a weight if 147 at 5'4". I placed 7th I am currently 165 and 10 weeks out from the Jr USA. I am sitting at about 8% bodyfat right now, so I figure I'll be 150-153 the day of the show.

Roundness and fullness of the delts doesn't have anything to do with a weightclass. Its more about how you train and your genetics. You "might" have a point if you are talking about the extreme development in the delts of drug users, but it still comes down to genetics and training. There are plenty of big guys who use steroids and have crappy shoulder development due to the fact that they either don't train them likke they should, or didn't pick the right parents My dad had great shoulder development back in his prime in the Marine Corps at a height of 5'10" and a weight of 210. Totally natural. So I got it honestly. Everything but the height I blame my mom for that
