The haters continue to hate but Obama's legacy just keeps getting more beautiful.  who ever thought we'd see $2 gas again in our lifetimes???.....Deficits are 75% lower and continue going down for the 8th straight year.....Unemployment at 5% and the most sustained job growth EVER IN THE HISTORY OF THE UNITED STATES!..Wall St. at record profits......and all of this with an unprecedented propaganda campaign against him by the republicans and FOX NEWS.......the Republican candidates consistently lie about the economy and how bad it is even in the face of the stats that prove otherwise...

Ronald Reagan was touted as a great job creator and yet Obama's job numbers dwarf his by a mile....not to mention the UE rate is lower than when Reagan left office...

its amazing some people just won't see the reality of what Obama has done for the economy

I see you're still delusional.

Hope this helps (though I doubt it since you're blind because he's black)

you fool..back when Reagan was president the U.S. was STILL the undisputed economic powerhouse in the world with no competition because there was no globalization back then.....and plus it was before NAFTA......the world is a different place now and very few economies are going to grow like they once did....which makes Obanma's accomplishments even more amazing

Yet Herman Cain and Carson, who were black, did not win.   So weird that the woman/race card only applies to lib voters, huh?

Repubs could run condi rice and susana martinez in a dream ticket, and they'd still lose by 5 to HIlary.   Sorry coach, this nation has shifted and you didn't notice.

You do realize that gas prices are this low because usage is low and supply is high and the drilling oil producers are trying to price fracking out of the market so they can go back to manipulating their profits.

How about the labor participation rate there, champ? How's that looking?

Deficits are 75% lower than what metric? Are you trying to say national debt is 75% lower than any previous point? Where do you get this info?

Wall St....haha, profits...more like huge stock buybacks to keep the market propped up due to cheap govt money? Armageddon is coming there soon to fix all that shiny happy stuff.

Oil is low because OPEC decided to keep existing production going in the face of falling worldwide demand - in part because the US requested it to punish Russia. So I guess you can say big O had something to do with that....but what do we owe Saudi for the favor?

Good points.

Don't forget that the gap between rich and poor is at its largest in history.

of course...but Obama sure as heck got the blame when gas prices were high...so now he gets the credit when they are low

No one EVER even heard of the Labor Participation rate until it was used against Obama to diminish his acomplishments....the Labor Participatiion rate has been going down since WWII....I guess thats Obama's fault??????????????...also, champ, the reason why the Labor Particpation rate is going down is due to our aging population and the retirement of baby boomers......who were the largest work force participants in U.S. history.....as for the price of oil, yes Obama did work with the saudis to lower oil I guess...BUT...also we had a huge economic oil boom (fracking) under Obama..so give him credit for that as well....

Gap between rich and poor is happening because for years the minimum wage did not go up and corporations are not paying people what they ae actually worth.....government has been subsidizing the private sector through food stamp distribution as well...

remember when companies at least paid our fathers enough so that they could take care of our families??????....that enabled fasthers to support their wives and children on ONE INCOME.....companies abandoned that way of thinking a long time ago

When you're against raising production you get blamed for a shortage of supply, and get no credit for a surplus...you're a fuking moron

Okay, so Obama's legacy...

Massive increase in food stamp usage
Stagnant wages
Biggest gap between rich and poor in history.

Exactly.  There wasn't such a thing as "real unemployment" until the "colored" guy took office.  LOL.

It's so funny to see blind partisans argue... it's a pity that this comes at the expense of our country getting more and more fucked up.

No way......again.....$2 gas.......5% unemployment......lower and lower deficit for seven straight years....and it will be eight when Obama is leaving office....wall st booming higher than anyone could have ever dreamed

The problem is that corporations are not paying people a fair wage..if you adjust for inflation the minimum wage is way below what it should be....so the gov't has to subsidize this underpayment of the American workl force through food stamps...Conservatives have sold us on the idea that raising the minimum wage kills jobs....this has not happened at any time during other minimum wage increases...

Also the killing off of the unions has had the effect of stagnating American wages where employes can no longer bargain for what they are worth

Correct.  The national debt skyrocketed the past eight years.
