If veganism is so unhealthy due to a lack of decent protein, then vegans would be dropping dead. But they aren't. So...................... ....

When vegans start dropping dead due to lack of protein, then we have something to worry about.

As for me, I am not a full fledged vegan. I still eat meat (but I cut out read meat 99.9% of the time. If I go to a BBQ, I may have a burger). I am going on the 5th day (or something--I lost count) of not eating meat. Today is my close friends daughters birthday and he is having a bbq. I will still clear of the red meat, but will have chicken.

Obviously, I have no problem with people who eat meat, since I still do eat meat. However, I have drastically cut down on it's consumption. I see no reason to eat meat every day, especially since vegan options are a fine replacement. Overall, I feel less bloated, poop better, and have shed some permabulking weight. My strength has not decreased in the gym, and I have not lost size.

Just my 2 cents.

Caution.  :D

I am not vegan, but I do not eat meat in the morning. I've never been one to eat food in the morning. In fact, I find the sight of food very early in the morning to be nauseating. I've always been like this. I have to be up for at least 1-3 hours before I could eat anything. Nonetheless, some foods to eat for breakfast may include:

Oatmeal w/ cinnamon
Whole grain bread
All natural peanut butter
Assorted nuts (almonds, cashews)
Fruit (banana, strawberries, blueberries, apple, orange)
Avacado
Coffee or tea
Water

Beyond this, what more do you need?  ??? ???

Um..... protein?

Some people argue for the ethics, ie whether it is humane or not in today's modern society or for some made up religious reasons, etc.

I was arguing with a vegan a while back saying it's OK to eat animals for sustenance. By the end of it, I was labeled more fit to rot in hell than the worst of the worst. Well, plants don't want to be eaten either, some have evolved for defensive mechanisms just for such threats. In a perfect universe, we wouldn't need to consume other living things to carry on. We were placed here without a real choice, so we should all get over it.

Never argue with a vegan! The limitations their diet puts on them makes them mean-spirited.

I'm a carnivore who also eats veggies. Lunch yesterday was a steak salad. Dinner was Oyster stew....soaring cholesterol!  ;D

He goes out and wrestles and kills a bear, then eats its meat for breakfast while knitting a bear jacket.

and while yelling 'M.O.T.H.E.R.F.U.C.K.E.R!!!!'

He must always yell 'M.O.T.H.E.R.F.U.C.K.E.R!!!!'

A vegan couple aimed to climb the 7 summits (highest mountain on each continent) to prove that vegans aren't weak. They both got hit by altitude sickness. He made it to the summit (while she waited for him, unable to push on) and she died on the way down.

N.B. They weren't the only ones to come down with altitude sickness and she wasn't the only one to die from it recently.

if doing it for health reasons, then they're even bigger idiots because there are no health benefits of a vegan diet to being a vegetarian or meat eater. It's a shiteside worse for your health!

You are one dumb bastard.  :)

steak salad is pretty good, honestly I had never had that combo until about 4 weeks ago at a restaurant for brunch and I am 46.

it has always been chicken, tuna, salmon, or just feta etc

I've known him for 25 years. But thanks for the bad advice.

Eat plenty of meat so at least you break even.

I don't eat meat on workdays for breakfast either. Protein drink and an apple or banana. No homo
Weekends I eat breakfast tacos or bacon, eggs and biscuits/ezekiel bread toast.

I'm sensitive to carbs, so I limit carbs at night save for cheat day.

As I stated, I have not cut out all meat from my diet, so it depends what I am eating for that day.

also, I used the word "vegan" but its more "vegetarian" on my end.

As a Vegan I usually eat a whole grain based breakfast with added fruits. Lunch is rich in protein usually PBJ, Veggie Burger, Beans, Smoothie, Etc. Dinner can be anything from veggie burgers, vegan spagetti, vegan lasagne, beans, steamed veggies, vegan sushi, etc. Etc.

Have you seen the ingredients in these veggie burgers? While I like the idea these "burgers" are FULL of horrible toxic chemicals and preservatives. At least the ones I have seen.
