After all, that busted washer/dryer set you bought from a low budget laundromat makes weird knocking noises and don't clean or dry well, but they work, right?

Washer and Dryer work just fine...no knocking noises.   I drove the Cadillac around and off the lot prior to the bid.   It has a check engine light on but its due to needing radiator fluid along with a new battery and gas.   The main issue is the windows which are acting funny.   However remember that the amount I paid for the vehicle was 650 dollars so even if I spend 1000 bucks fixing it up, it doesn't matter.   I have no car payments or financing so I can do whatever I wish with the car.

So fix the regulators. It's like $200 and I'm sure a 2002 still have parts on ebay, otherwise you can buy a universal electric window set online set for less than a hundred bucks. I suggest you replace those parts with aftermarket components and get it serviced ASAP if you intend to drive this thing another 6 months because a radiator's no joke.

This has nothing to do with having a High IQ...its just a matter of me keeping up with the habits of folks like Warren Buffett, Bill Gates....billionaires that are very frugal with their money....especially Buffett.   I bought my car in a similiar manner that Buffet does....he buys cars with damage on it for a reduced rate and he has it fixed up in addition to buying older models that have already depreciated.   


Just because you're not wealthy like them doesn't mean their habits won't work for you.
