I can't speak for Parker but it's entirely possible you're using different definitions of have it bad, based upon perspective. Parker has a good job, education, both parents have college degrees, father has an advanced degree, but still has to worry about getting shot by the police that he works with, FFS! All that hard work hasn't made people like him, Me, Al, Option D, Little J, Wiggs, etc... full citizens because you know all that doesn't mean shit when you're pulled over.

In certain areas dick cops will pull a black guy over in a nice car faster because they "look out of place", "Might be lost", or simply must be a drug dealer to afford such a nice car. Hell.... some cops will pull you over on a really good day just to remind you of your place.

The police's job is to protect the status quo. Things wont change until their job does.

The False things Obama has been saying in his speeches about how racist all law enforcement is and your society is, how you are discriminated against, are incorrect and despicable to say as a president. He comes across as a good speaker but as an outside if you listen (unbiased)  He is the great divider of you all. I heard this once, "In America you can come with nothing and make it out great, but American can also grind you up and spit you out", and that is what America is in a nutshell. It can be two extremes.
Me personally, I have been blessed, as drkaje alluded to. But, there is always the constant reminder, here and everywhere, that people have a problem with black people--including other black people. I cannot and will not play the "I have it harder than you" card with other people who may come from less fortunate circumstances, because that is pretending, but to those who are not black, how would you deal with the indignation of being stopped for walking in a nice neighborhood? Or driving a car (regardless of how nice it is) or those who snicker at your women for being "good to go"? Or assuming that you are stupid, or lack a moral compass, all because you are black.
The way some of you go off on here for pages and call people names, and all types of stuff, based on pettiness is astounding. Now imagine all the micro-aggressions, plus the bombardment of stupidity from other people who look like you, and being in a country that basically still sees you as a means to an end. How would you feel? It seems like the latter of that saying is what America has and will do to black people.

Yes. The media, politicians, and ideologues want to separate people to entertain and gain power. That's true but it doesn't mean there aren't problems with how some police treat black Americans. It's like BLM ignoring black-on-black violence.

There's been an issue with policing and inequality in the justice system before most of us were born. The majority was fine with how things were before the Civil Rights act and should at least stop pretending racism isn't a part of the problem.

Having worked nightclub security in places that had all black events, I can tell you, first hand, that kindness is seen as weakness.
