A tad bit of misinformation in this thread. Unless muscle memory is involved, expecting body weight gains to contain more than 1/2 -3/4 lb. of muscle per week is naive - and that's with EVERYTHING dialed in PERFECTLY. Beyond this is pure illusion /delusion. Sustaining that rate for any amount of time also presents it's own problems. Growth is not linear, far from it in fact...
That said, DJ181 has plenty of room for the glycogen, water, and fat that most 'lay people' will credit as 'muscle' and I wish him luck - I used to add a shot of olive oil to milk,banana, and protein shakes when I bulked up to 270# as a perma bulker and it works well. But any real muscle takes time - there are no real short cuts.
