I don't particularly agree with this story. Am I correct to assume that a rogue principal decided this on his own? If that is the case, then it is completely wrong. You have to at least have the school vote to a majority decision, otherwise you are just acting like a dictator.
I am all for freedom of expression, but as an individual. It becomes a problem when you use a position of power, to force people into your way of thinking.
Unfortunately, that seems to be a world problem, not just an American one.
