Hey guys, since most of you are a little older crowd here, I would like you to asses my situation as I feel a little lost in life

-27 years old
-Not in the best shape (high 20s bf, and working to get in shape)
-Live at home (cultural reasons)
-No degree (finishing it this year)
-Virgin
-Quit dead end IT job to finish school (business degree). Also taking a tax preparation course so I could open my own business
-Will possibly join family business (finance)
-Around 70k saved up

I feel like for the past 27 years I have been just "existing" rather than living and enjoying life. Basically just worked, tried to go to school but lacked motivation and gym. Never went out. I think you are supposed to wake up happy in life and looking forward to it rather than "fuck what am I going to do today"

My immediate goals are to find a girlfriend and finish that degree.

Do I have any hope?
^^
JOIN the army, get a job as a Military Policeman and then after 5 years, quit and apply for EVERY Police, or Prison Guard position you can find...
THANK ME LATER...

Yes, because there's no better job to have in 2016 than a cop job. Be prepared to be cursed at, spit on, have rocks and other objects thrown at you, have every single Hebrew resisting arrest while their hood rat friends record it on their Obama phones yelling WORLDSTAR, thugs punching you and pulling guns on you and you can't do a single damn thing about it without losing your job.

Or, he could be a jail guard like me watching guys serving under 5 years... most are happy believe it or not!
P.S.  Beats being constantly deployed as I was in the military!!!

I watch that rookies prison show on tv and it gives me anxiety just watching. Couldn't do that job for 5 minutes.

If you served in the military it's WAY easier to relate to them, to me they are just guys who had BAD KARMA- or weren't brought up right...

Started my first business in my early 20's, only one girl for me, dont become an insecure loser that needs to prove themselves to other losers, finding someone willing to have your back no matter what unconditionally is not something to take for granted.

don't try to impress women with money unless you're looking to get taken for a ride.

Invest in property or business, personally I'd open a gym if i had 70k saved up.

Thats EXACTLY how I feel. I feel like I have let my parents make all my decisions for me (still my responsibility)
I lost contact with all my friends for years and now that I re-connected with them, all of them are married have bought houses and have meaningful relationships.

And I'm just here finishing my degree and havn't even found my first girlfriend

Wow what have I been doing with my fucking life.
Actually I am thinking of using it as downpayment for an investment property. The real estate market is good in Canada.

Its funny you mentioned that - I did get a girlfriend and almost became her slave. Relationship ended and I became severely depressed. Honestly, it only happened last month but I think it was the best thing to happen to me. It kind of "woke me up" like neo from the matrix about my situation.

Gimmick can't even keep his story coherent.

What is it cockmuncher, did you or did you not have a girlfriend? And why are you not snorting coke out of a hookers asshole if you got 70k to spend while leeching of your parents?

depends on his net worth

if thats all he has that's only 10k per year since he was 20 :-\

Saving $10k a year is substantial for most; that's a 20% savings rate for the average American household, way above average.

go to

Vanguard.com and open a Roth IRA.  Invest it as follows:

20K in VTSAX Vanguard Total Stock Market Index Fund Admiral Shares
20K in VTIAX Vanguard Total International Stock Index Fund Admiral Shares
20K in VBTLX Vanguard Total Bond Market Index Fund Admiral Shares

You can only put $5500 into a Roth IRA annually, so I'm not sure where this "drop $60k into a Roth and invest" idea is coming from.

hey serious question. Are you just acting like this as a gimmick or are you genuinely a complete retard?
