That's changing,  mostly with educated young woman working in various career professions.
My current wife got an MBA and worked her way up to executive VP of her section in a major bank.
She never wanted kids.

My ex-wife was a board certified psychologist with a PhD and never wanted kids.

Obviously, plenty of successful woman want children and consider an important aspect of their life.
BUT, aprox, 50% of all female CEO's don't raise children.

Like men, it's tougher to raise a family when climbing the career ladder.
Sure, it's possible to do both, but, it's tougher and more stressful.

Of course a more traditional minded young woman who wants to be a housewife and mom will be different.

I often joke about this with my wife. I tell her if I didn't have her and the kids I'd be rolling around in a much sweeter ride (my ride is already pretty sweet) and getting into tons of no good fun.

But the reality is, I genuinely love being married and I love having kids. Both those things will drive you crazy and stress you the FUCK out.... but you get a special kind of love from the family that nothing else in this world can compare to, not money, not one night stands, nothing.... I wouldn't trade it for the world.

It's also not either or, you can still have money, be jacked ,etc with a family. Just different,

I haven't handled it as well as I could have, but I have a low tolerance for bs with women and I'm very good at shaking them off and dumping. Granted I'm probably on the kill list with a few by now.

Protitutes don't work as well for me, I need more than one hour in a hotel from a woman...ideally dating casually and changing frequently is the best approach....but a man always falls for one eventually.

Ive become recently single after putting up with some females BS for the past year. I had been single and enjoying holidays, nights out, different women, lots of gym time etc before her. -100% commission sales job
-travel

I'd say anything is better than marriage n kids. Eventually you wake up whether be it one day or 10 yrs down the line and think wtf have I done and wish you lived on your own, had a dog and s two seater car outside....lots of freedom, money to yourself and time.

Getting married and having a family is still the best life with the right person in my opinion, the sense of accomplishment and bond that can be made through the struggles is something my single friends now miss out on that were all in our mid 40s, without the right person it can be hell though, I have friends who are divorced, definitely the worst off they are paying child support unhappy and only get to see their kids when the exwife determines it, I could certainly understand people not wanting to get married to avoid ending up here, other friends who have stayed single have good social lives and drive nicer cars, but are envious of people in my situation, having a wife and family worked for me it wasn't easy, and women are not the same after having kids accepting this change in your relationship and allowing the kids to become the point of priority not yourself is the biggest factor I see in longterm success.

That's the plus sides of good relationships and at some point we all wanted this, but as relationships...let's say marriages have a 50% divorce rate...that's a risk we take. For me although not divorced I've had my share of bad breakups and one was with a joint mortgage/house but no kids and that was a nightmare for me....I've met some nice girls since but none I could see myself living with 10yrs down the line.

May be I'll do a clooney and ride this to the bitter end then settled down when I start looking and sounding like a grandpa.
