Now I don't follow everything Trump like you guys do, can you give us some examples of how Vance has been a scapegoat or thrown under the bus by Trump?

What I wrote was J.D. Vance was in danger of being thrown under the bus by Trump, not that he has already been thrown under the bus. Furthermore this is in mainly regard to the Memorandum of Understanding with Iran. IMO, Vance as being used as a useful tool for Trump to test controversial policies or deflect blame, while Trump reserves the right to show disapproval or throw him under the bus when and if operations turn sour. Trump even joked that he would do this. Normally, Trumps jokes would be just par for the course, but Trump's jokes have sometimes ‘come to pass.’
