Honestly, I had a big long winded post but there's no point. I don't know anyone like this is real life and this seems performative. Unless she is confusing sex with gender. There is nuance there but gender is not unmoored from sex/biology.

The ones I do run into are purple haired weirdos that stink.  It's low hanging fruit and analogous to being unable to say trump lost. I don't know what the left is like in Canada, but if you look online it is not hard to find people like this all over the place in America.  This woman isn't a purple haired weirdo.  She is a highly educated, white coat-wearing weirdo.  Representative of the mainstream left.
