Why is Trump taking the heat for this?  Huh

Because he speaks (tweets) before he thinks. -Explains why he reverses what he has said so often.

It may not be a joke, but Trump did say this while debating in front of millions of people. Obama did not make this up and he wasn't telling people something they didn't already know.

Folks, having read this man's shit for so long... having been disappointed so many times... Why is what Obama says important at this point?

He is a lying sack of shit. His lying cost his co-crook democratic candidate her election, and Trump is about to inherit a government that is in SERIOUS REAL WORLD difficulties.

Anything Barack says ought to be followed with a "shut the fuck up dumbass!!".

It is completely foolish, but probably true, to assume that people don't know that cyber warfare has been going on since the inception of the internet...  ::)

Thanks for the link. Actually I'd already read the Nato Review article, which states: "1988 The Morris worm - one of the first recognised worms to affect the world's nascent cyber infrastructure - spread around computers largely in the US. The worm used weaknesses in the UNIX system Noun 1 and replicated itself regularly. It slowed down computers to the point of being unusable. The worm was the work of Robert Tapan Morris, who said he was just trying to gauge how big the Internet was. He subsequently became the first person to be convicted under the the US' computer fraud and abuse act. He now works as a professor at MIT."

Another article contends this: "Cyberwar - does it exist?

Cyber war does not exist. This is the bald (bold) statement summarizing the work of Dr. Thomas Rid of King's College London, who feels that cyber attacks meet none of the conditions of war."

Watching the live of senate hearing on the subject...

Now I understand what is going on. The panel looks like early 80's Soviet politburo; mainly very old men and women not capable of understanding the world we live in.
Seriously, most of these guys were born when Stalin was still around? No wonder they blindly hate Russia and fail to understand Russia these days has probably massively thinner lawbook than USA.
Jesus, they even talk like mummies.

They fail to see times have changed. Most of the world doesn't see USA representing freedom anymore. You can watch any TV channel you want. You can watch CNN in Russia and RT in USA. It's the era of internet. It's not possible anymore to rule by old man telling on TV what the people should think of the world!

I'm watching the live stream on Russian tv channel!
Anyone in Russia can watch it. Russia is not trying nor does it have need to try to cover up USA is accusing them of being evil dictatorship.
Now they are talking about 70's KGB :-\

Interesting observation. You would think it would behoove politicians to keep up with the times, since we old folks do nothing to expand the vote for them.

Funny how some folks appear to think politicians attain and retain their positions by magic and not by vote.

CNN claims Russia has very delicate/sensitive intelligence about Mr. Trump  :o

Word is McCain, the prisoner of war which vietnam kept convicted in foxhole, has provided FBI some bad stuff about Trump. When will this old bastard kick the bucket?
He's mad at russia because while he was in vietnam he ended up in hands of KGB to be interrogated. Decades ago.
