What valuable advice and wisdom do you wish someone had told you when you were finding your way in the world as a Twenty something young man?

What valuable advice and wisdom do you wish someone had told you when you were finding your way in the world as a Twenty something young man?

1. Don't get married until after 30 yrs old minimum. Plus, don't get pressured into having kids unless you feel
"called" to be a father. In plain talk, PULL the fuk out and don't blow a load inside her unless you want her pregnant.

2. Get a decent education or some form of training and/or experience for a viable stable career.

3. Don't waste a lot of money on BB drugs or gimmick supplements.
Train hard, diet on good food, and compete IF and only IF you feel the need to .
Avoid doing ultra heavy ego lifting to impress the gym bros.

If so what is he like?

I saw him in person briefly going up the escalator while I was headed down at the Arnold expo in 2008.
We've talked on the phone a lot however.

He's one of the real, genuine fans of pro bodybuilding.
The Mayor isn't a schmoe, but like me doesn't mind joking about it.
He's been married for many years and has kids.
He recently retired and spends more time with family now.
You'd be WTF, if you knew what he did for his career.

They Mayor is a funny, cool guy and I always enjoy talking shop with him.

The Gayor is the kind of guy with a distant father who realized pretty early that his son wasn't "normal". Dad went out of his way to ignore and avoid his son and probably drank heavily. I can only imagine the dissappointment on the day dad asked his son what he was building with his Legos only to be met with the reply, "I'm building a town filled with muscle men and I'm the mayor."  Many dreams were shattered that day.

MOB: Yeah, it does, a lot. Something about a male bodybuilders smell is magnificent. However, DLB most likely has a penoris, and that is the closest I can get to a male bodypart. So, it will have to do for now.

Believe it or not, he's read most of these "gayor of BB" posts .
We've actually talked about them on the phone and even add to them.

The Mayor and I are pretty thick skinned and don't mind being the butt of a joke...as long if it's clever/funny.
I still have fun kidding him about the "Cedric -10 names on the shirt"  incident.
