Really enjoying this thread, thanks for doing it.  I particularly like when I see your choices a bit similar to something I'd choose - my example here would be the noodles and tuna thing.  I know (now) it doesn't really matter, but I used to choose the cheapest authentic Chinese noodles I could find - no Batchelors Souper Noodles for me LOL.  So I was wondering what you go for?

And after just 5 years of on/off dieting in the '90s it took me a loooooong time to even be able to look at a can of tuna again, so I respect the fact you can still face it  :)  You eat it plain?  Or maybe a little onion, etc?

Best of luck dude, you're an inspiration (no homo of course  ;))

Watch the metals, though.  They'll fuck you up.

I think spirulina has been proven to help clear that out

Taffin, from what I understand, the big fish are especially known to accumulate all the bad stuff.  But you mentioned being sick of it (as they say) anyway, so I should've directed it at BT.

Sorry, everyone.  Carry on.    ;D

Has there ever in your whole life been a time you had no abs at all?  Or have you always started from a basically lean position.  I guess what I'm getting at is do you buy into the ecto meso endo somatotype thing, and if so what would you classify yourself as?

And how do you cook/like your rib eye?  I use a griddle and cook it rare - never tried grilling it.  (Christ I just realised what a dull sentence that was, apologies)

I did get a bit lost at around 44, I saw a photo of myself in the garden asleep on a hammock, fuck me was that a wake up call, I have never been over 34 trousers.

Im naturally lean because i dont eat a lot, if I ate pizza and ice cream every day I would just get fat.
I started at 140lbs lean and have managed to get to 200lb onstage, thats a 60lb lean gain, not bad really.
I used to think I had a fast metabolism but in reality I have never really eaten much.
As a kid I would regularly go all day without food during school holidays, not that I had a shitty childhood or anything it was the norm where i lived, all my mates were the same, they sometimes had a beans on toast at home but that it.
Fuck sake I used to drink water from the outside toilet flush because i couldn't get in the house.    ;D

Rib eye just pan fry, I tend to cut them in strips to cook quicker.

Im 3 weeks in front of where i was at this stage last year so Im OK.

Its always a panic thought when you see bits of stubborn fat.
Also condition fluctuates from day to day, some days you look great then another you look shit, it plays with your mind a bit.
I will be going seeing the guy I normally see before a show in a couple of weeks , hes always brutally honest..
Having a day off today, eating a bit of treat foods.
Full steam ahead from tomorrow.

this was me last year on the 14th March with the show on the 21st May
this year the show is on the 6th May

4 eggs baked beans
oats milk and banana
tuna noodles
rib eye steak in a wrap with mushrooms and onions...

trained chest today, 4 sets bench to warm up, decline machine press 4 sets, cables 4 sets, pec deck flys
also did some abs, knees to chest crunches in dip frame, cant do sit ups with by bad back, will start some crunches in the ab roller this week.

Feeling good, still up and down with condition, still pissing out 7lbs of water overnight, I have a litre first thing when I get up, stops the fatigue I have been feeling due to dehydration...
