Can you prove CNN was lying?  Are there photos to the contrary?  I'm serious.  Because I watched their stuff last night and they put out a very compelling piece using photos that weren't theirs; it was from different sources (getty, transit authority, secret service, etc)....

The problem is that the Washington Monument was closed so you couldn't get an actual sky high picture, even if you wanted to.

Real talk, on its face it is a silly thing to charge into but that original picture that press used to downplay and to de-legitimize Trumps presidency is pretty lame and an out and out lie. It just confirms what the press is willing to do. With that in mind I don't have a real issue with what Spicer said and did, he just should have chose his words more carefully when claiming things.

Although, Entertainment News says that this was the 2nd highest rated (Neilson) inauguration in 36 years with around 32 million watching on TV alone. Reagan - Obama- Trump. Reagan had 41 million. I think I read that the streaming on other devices was around 20 million or so.

The event was definitely well attended and viewed especially when you consider the riots and violence, security and rioters blocking access points. They could have pointed that out, hammered the media with the same fury and just let the facts speak for themselves while pointing out how dumb the press looks by doing these shenanigans.

Oh well.

I really don't care about the attendance of this inauguration, it's petty.  That said  think there is plenty of evidence out that proves CNN will crop photos and strategically show (or not show) things to create false impressions.

They've been caught doing this several times.  They are Democrat political activists.  They are not journalists.  They purposely mislead in order to shape and sway public opinion.

The Trump administration should absolutely continue to call them out on their shit...they just need to take care and make sure they are right when they do it.

1. I don't think the exact crowd size or TV viewing ratings are a big  deal.
But, for team Trump, it was . President Trump  brought it up, without being asked , in front of
the CIA Wall of Fallen Hero ( stars). That was inappropriate .
