If some folks were upset enough to publicly announce they would move to another country if Trump were elected, they anticipated a future which is playing out before our eyes. Albeit, many were being drama queens. Personally, I am more of a stay at home and fight kind of fellow. Am I more rational than those who were being futurist? That is hard to say. Many were blowing shit in the wind, because they had no intention of moving anywhere else. I for one, stuck around. It is beginning to look as if those of us who did, were wise. Trump is going to go down in a very big way. When he does, there will be a celebration like none anyone has ever experienced.

It could be said that to actually know you is to avoid you at all costs.   Portland will fail and your kind with it.  It's collapsing on itself.

Honestly, you must be very special if you've never said anything you didn't mean when you were upset or angry.

They said it before the election vote, leading up to it.  They did not say it after he won and in a fit of anger.  This was typical Libatard behavior.

Pathetic.  Anyone with any money or assets like these faggety Hollywood perverts do - is experiencing record net worth and awesome economy.    A future playing out ?   Gtfo.    Tell me - what is so bad.   Explain.

For some people money isn't everything. Some think having a crooked clown in the White House is pretty bad.

What was, was. It's history since Obama is not in President. If there are issues, the time to do something about them is when the person in question is holding a public office. Hashing over this tired crap again and again is a waste of everyone's time.

"Axios on HBO" poll: Politics are driving Democrats mad

More than 70% of Democrats say politics is making them increasingly angry about America, leaving them feeling like “strangers in their own land,” according to an "Axios on HBO" poll conducted by SurveyMonkey.

Why it matters: Democrats say nearly everything they watch, read or listen to triggers their anger, even the soothing voices of NPR.

The big picture: Americans, as a whole, are just plain mad and feeling like strangers in their own land, though a lower percentage of Republicans describe themselves as angry (57% compared to 74% of Democrats) or feeling like a stranger (52% compared to 71% of Democrats).

Other people are getting angrier too: 58% report their friends, family and co-workers seem angrier than five years ago.
Between the lines: Those who talk about politics the most are also the angriest.

83% of Americans who discuss politics several times a day report feeling angry at least once a day over something they heard or read in the news.
That falls to 56% among those who discuss it once a week, and 39% for those who discuss it about once a month.
The bottom line: The Republican anger that animated the Trump rise and presidency gets most of the media attention.

Turns out, this is the bipartisan era of rage and estrangement, fueled by rising interest in American politics.
Go deeper … Poll: 70% of Americans believe the political system is rigged

Methodology: The data is from a SurveyMonkey online poll conducted among adults ages 18 and older in the United States. The survey was conducted Oct. 17–20 among 2,811 adults. The modeled error estimate for the full sample is ±2.5 percentage points.

Excellent idea. You might be able to get by with a professional tutor, which would only cost you around $50,000 a year in salary. Otherwise, if you need a certified teacher in order for your kids to graduate, public school teachers make as much as $100,000 a year in California, depending on their experience and what grade level they teach. You might be able to hire a certified private school teacher for considerably less. If your wife is able to be there for homeschooling, it could be very inexpensive....I think. Of course if she currently works, there would likely be a loss of income which could change everything cost wise.

If you are really serious about home schooling your kids, here is a link to a lot of information about how it works in California: https://www.cde.ca.gov/sp/ps/homeschool.asp

Therapy dogs visit stressed Congressional staffers at impeachment hearings
By Ebony Bowden

A Golden Doodle therapy dog greets Congressional staffers on Wednesday.Getty Images

It’s a ruff time in politics.

An army of emotional support dogs was on hand Wednesday to help stressed-out Capitol Hill lawmakers and staffers weary after a year of impeachment-related drama.

Hundreds of journalists, policy wonks and politicians including Rep. Cheri Bustos (D-Ill.) lined up to see the pooches as the first day of public impeachment hearings got underway.

One frazzled Senate staffer was seen clinging to a Japanese Spitz, while a handsome Collie named Remy was only too happy to take Bustos’ mind off collusion and quid pro quo. Blue the Goldendoodle also wore a tie for the special occasion.

The furry shrinks were all certified therapy dogs provided by therapy animal organization Pet Partners, which sponsored the event along with the Pet Industry Joint Advisory Council, The Hill reported.

The dogs were on hand to “offer congressional staff a break from the stress of wrapping up an exceptionally busy year,” Pet Partners said in a statement.

“Who better to bring comfort and relief to the hardworking folks on Capitol Hill than a furry group of loving, intuitive, and bipartisan Pet Partners therapy animals?”

The dogs were stationed from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Hart Senate Office Building and the Rayburn House Office Building as members of the House Intelligence Committee and witnesses duked it out in the Longworth House Office Building.

The science is still out on whether therapy dogs improve stress levels.

Shreveport Mayor Tells First Responders Not to Help When Trump Visits
posted by Ken Webster jr -  Nov 13, 2019

Update: new reports reveal the mayor of Shreveport has gone into full defense mode, telling outlets he will provide “some” help with Trump’s visit.

——-

Shreveport Police and Firefighters have been ordered not do their jobs and assist with President Trump's visit to Bossier City this week.

First responders from Northwest Louisiana were planning to help prepare for Donald Trump's rally at the CenturyLink Center this week but the Mayor of Shreveport, Democrat Adrian Perkins, has ordered them not to get involved, according to multiple news outlets.

This order pertains to traffic control and the fire department bomb squad.

Wow! The Mayor of Shreveport wants people in Northwest Louisiana to be less safe? Sounds like another corrupt Democrat is running his mouth again.

Not surprisingly, local residents are pissed.
