those kids seemed to be pretty respectful tbf. after swearing at a young girl and then physically dragging one of them around for several minutes i thought they acted very well in trying to initially talk the man into letting go of their friend.
had they been more unruly he would have no doubt been lying on his back with 10 different shoe prints imprinted on his face before he had the chance to even go for his gun. and he would have probably deserved it given his ridiculous behaviour.
What's respectful about mobbing up on an adult, arguing and swearing? Where has the respect gone for your elders? Even if the man was in the wrong, where has the respect, civility, and dignity gone to just stand-by and wait for the police to arrive? Instead of acting like a bunch of hoodlems encroaching on the guy? You said it best yourself "initially" they talked to the man, despite already aggressively coming at him, which then escalated into attempted violence from their part. Gang-mentality.
What is ridiculous behavior is that evidently young kids are mouthing off and threatening adults, thinking they can get away with it.
All of them should be whipped until they show some semblance of decency, and ability to act like civil persons.
If only something was invented that could fence off a piece of land. 
Yes, because you as the owner of the land should have to invest in keeping people who shouldn't be there, off your property.
Not to mention fences are not the most aesthetic. Why should you have to do anything to meet other people's violations of your rights and freedoms, whilst they don't respect yours?
