lets be honest here rory looks great he is  62, he looks way better than that clown rich gaspari, and the chocolate covered turd  flex wheeler. he has aged well.

I have a big problem with the 23" arm and calf claims for that show, maybe off season, not a chance on stage..

Rory stated in a 1984 edition of Muscle and Fitness that he was 5'11", 235 pounds offseason and had 20" arms.

Rory was small and flat in those pics from the 81' America. He was being trained by Jeff Feliciano who convinced him to drop down below 200 (I think he was around 190) and not train for two weeks prior to the show. He looked like walking death when he would come in.

Yup, 192 pounds down from 225 onstage from the previous year.

Bumping this topic again. Everybody should be looking at Rorys recent instagram video post that is 4 photos in. From a few days ago....Rory training triceps at 61 years old....looking happy and looking like a boss. Few bodybuilders in the world looking like him at 61...and not looking like he is taking jack shit juice wise. Even Coach will agree that Rory has got a solid base that cant be touched and at best...maybe...taking 200mg of therapeutic test a week.

Rory is pure bodybuilder all the way. Doing it no matter what. Fuck turning pro. The guy looks better still at 61 years old than 90% of all the guys that were pros in the 80's and 90's.....so who is the real winner? Rory for sure. His instagram and following is growing bigger by the day. Kinda having a resurgence.  So fuck it that he never turned pro.

Totally agree, a pro card doesn't guarantee a good income and most of us never started training to ever earn one, training and looking good and healthy in his 60s is a far greater result than what most 80s 90s pros are now doing if they aren't 6 foot under

Excellent point.  And it might even be the case with some of these guys, that NOT getting the card may have made them live longer.....
