I would have had Roy in second place.
Chris looks really good in this relaxed back picture. Maybe the best. I remember a picture of him next to Arnold and Zane a year ago, at the 1980 MO, posted by me in another topic . It also looks the best in that relaxed shot from the back.. Probably Chris looks better from back than front.
Danny first, Tom second. Danny had near perfect proportions, and was carved out of granite. He was brutally robbed.Tom was the best he's ever been and his upper body much improved, but was still glaringly bottom heavy. Solid second.
any bodypart that jumps out at you is a fault.Nothing should overpower anything else, that is symmetry.
and first ?
true.Though, Arnold - Haney - Dorian - Coleman - heath All Mr O winners all with outstanding Bodyparts that jump out at you.so much for symmetry at the Top level.
To be honest, the Columbu's upperbody did not look bad (except the gynecomastia), but the legs were clearly the worst of the finalists. With poor separation and asymmetric legs. You can not win big pro BB major titles without separations on the legs. Obvious excepting Franco and Bill Pearl..
The Columbu was actually pretty ripped. For some reason his legs didn't show this as much as his upper body did.The Columbu of peace.
he blew his knee out in a strongman contest carrying a fridge (not Cutler) the year before.
