OT1 was making a joke but I agree with Bindare_Dundat.  Spain is the same way with animals and it really shits on their culture.

That's good to hear. I have family living there, and they adopted 2 street dogs. First they were pretty distrustful to humans due their upbringing, but now +5 years later they became loyal & playful dogs, full of energy.

Interesting, since Germany is known for a high speed limit of 130 km/hour (81 miles/hour), while the limit Portugal is 120 km/hour (correct me if I'm wrong). They don't check for speed in Portugal?
I meant driving out of the freeway. In freeways germany there are places where there is no limit.
In Portugal, you rarely get a fine up to 150km/h. More than 180km/h you can get detained. But we very poor highway patrol by comparison with most european countries. When i see american pursuing a speeder with several cars and helicopters, i laugh my ass off. No such thing here.

Cows suffer 10 times more during their life and in the slaughter house.
Bulls live like kings in semi wild enviroment with top quality food. They only get tortured in the arena, with the chance to fight back.

That may be true, IDK and wouldn't want to guess -- but it's done for purposes of feeding and with consideration for improvement (toward being more humane).

Don't they have little "festivals" of some sort, to include a bull in a ring with thousands of spectators blowing darts at him for hours?  Pretty sure I've seen that in Spain.

They have their children at these things, teaching them to act in that way.  To "celebrate" in that way, in fact.

Basically Portuguese bitches you mean.

What you see in Brazil is the result of people from Portugal that mingled with the darker indigenous people/natives back in the day (Portugal started colonizing Brazil in the 16th century (early 1500s))

No, Brazil is a byproduct of Portugal, without Portugal the women would not have looked like that.

Without Brazil, Portugal would still be great with lots of beautiful women.

In Portugal, you are visiting the source of all good.

Language doesn't sound as attractive as in Brazil, quite a difference

Algarve is nice thuogh, in May or September
Beaches much better than in the Med: Algarve = Atlantic ocean, so golden beaches that are clean (Med beaches often look gray and dirty)

Great wave surfing too

Google "pega tourada". You will delight seeing the bull jousting into a group of men, like rallie cars do when they crash.

One night stand whores only appear at night clubs after 4am. And they are too drunk to do anything better than play dead.
If your solely purpose is fucking, you will get better luck in Spain. Try Ibiza, just not in September.

my wife is Portuguese,I'm familiar with all that stuff brother.

the only thing I tease her about is Portuguese sounding like English played backwards. She's not impressed. Although she admits Brazilian Portuguese sounds alot nicer.

Hoping to make it out there again soon.

Okay, fair enough.

What about advice for same fella, who wants to visit for a month or two, make friends, meet real women (not whores), live the lifestyle, see the country, learn the land...?
