I just read it in NFL league rule book pages A62-63. Could it be a fake rule book?

wouldn't be a hardship for you to copy and post a copy then...specifically addressing the anthem

As I’ve said, it’s more than just these guys kneeling. The NFL had become an ordeal to watch. An 8 o’clock game sometimes doesn’t end until midnight. It’s a one hour freaking game. So you’re getting a little bits of a game in between tons of nonsense. They can’t go five minutes without some stupid sideline interview.

It’s really just another example of an old-school media company not being able to adapt well to the new fast paced internet environment.

I just downloaded the PDF version of the rule book and there is no such rule.

Page 62 pertains to the enforcement of 15 yard penalties, special exceptions for 15-yard penalties and ejections. Page 63 focuses on penalties for illegal kicks and batting the ball.

According to other sources, there is no rule requiring players to stand.

If I am wrong, then I am wrong. Heck, it just needs to be put to rest.
