i was there right after high school as it was a graduation present from my mom

outstanding weather there near prefect as blue skies everyday and warm but not too hot

never been to Oz but ive met 3 aussie fellas here in europe and they were all total fucking dick heads, as were the english

strange thing though as ive had contact with 4 Scots and all of them were cool as fuck

and they all could drink like MEN, i was impressed

Arthur Jones was wrong about the requirements for hypertrophy. Intensity is necessary but not sufficient for maximizing hypertrophy. Volume is also required. Volume at the triggering intensity does it. In practice warm up in a pyramid fashion doing as many reps as comfortably possible after the first two light sets. Aim at 15 reps for a pump and to avoid injuries. When you reach the maximum weight for 15 reps keep using that maximum resistance for an additional 5 or more sets. Exercise selection is important. They must be both effective and safe. I prefer to superset arms to get a maximum pump. Frequency? Every 3rd day for best results and to avoid the repeated bout effect. Doms is the indicator of hypertrophy after using this protocol. No pain, no rapid gains.

Sounds plausible - not so sure about 5+ sets of 15 , but the general gist of it I agree with for the most part (keeping in mind Vince is addressing RAPID gains).

intensity and yraining til failure are requiered, OVERLOAD is not, thats where he got it wrong

i got bigger arms and i was acutally weaker than when i was smaller lol
