Mandalay Bay Shooting - Las Vegas 10/02/17

Wow.  First, I am hoping that to my friends, competitors, family and best friends who live in Las Vegas, they are ok.  50+ innocent people is just fucked up, and this gunman and his beliefs scares all of us.  My wife's best friend and family lives in Vegas, and she talked to them this morning, they are fine.
To others that live in that area, and to our friends that work these events, please facebook, or tweet something so many of us will feel better.

Lets concentrate what we know, which is not a lot.

*** Marilou Danley is not believed to be involved with the shooting. She is, "no longer being sought out as a person of interest. Detectives have made contact with her and do not believe she is involved with the shooting on the strip," the police department said in a statement. I am assuming her estranged husband is not involved at all, so no more talk on that guy, it isnt fair on him, regardless on his political views. Also, reports of her not even being in the country.

*** This was planned for a while -->  The shooter had been at the Mandalay Bay hotel since September 28, 2017, the sheriff said. And "there was an excess of 10 rifles in the room."

That seems like a very far distance. I assume he would have to have been a pretty good shot. I assume he had formal training.

your anger is aimed in wrong direction. how am i ignorant ? i have been saying on this board for years that unless you do something about your ludicrous gun control laws this kind of thing will just keep on happening, year in, year out.

unfortunately still too many people in america love playing with guns more than they value human life. i said after sandy hook, if that wasn't enough to bring about change, then nothing likely will.

every single person that supports current gun control legislation and helps hinder laws being changed takes a proportion of responsibility every time one of these random massacres occurs. they are the ones of ignorance.

Guns aren't the problem, it's the mentally ill and bullshit ideologies that are brought in by mudslimes that get people killed. The gun laws in your country haven't stopped people from dying.

you have too many guns in circulation, period. until something is done to drastically reduce that number, these massacres will continue to happen routinely, along with ludicrously high gun crime rates in general.

problem is too many people in your country (for various reasons) will continue to muddy the waters and swear black is white. so once again nothing will be done and it will be business as usual.

according to former IFBB pro Troy Zuccolotto's fb, he and his family were in the concert and staying at Mandalay Bay  , but they ended up leaving Sunday afternoon. God bless, Troy & his family are all safe.
