Two of my best friends where at the show. They where standing at the spot where the first shots came in, the worse of the carnage.They where pinned down by fire. As they layed there bullets wizzed by their legs and heads, skipling off and into other people laying right next to them. When there was a lull in the firing he grabbed his wifes arm and they ran, several others running with them(people they did not now) dropped dead before they hit the ground from head and back shots. They barely got out of there. They personaly witnessed at least 20 people shot to death within feet of them.  Brutal shit.

I found out two days later that a younger friend of mine working security there was shot in the head and killed on the spot.
Super nice guy. Erick Silva...just 22 years old. He was openly gay and alot of fun to hang out with. I had JUST seen him a few days before while I was getting fuel. We chatted for a few min and I said I'd text him over the weekend. I got busy and forgot.
Wish I could hug him just one last time. I'd never let go.
