I'm no expert but to my ears it sounds like 3 separate sounds.  The original shots, the echo, and some bullets ricocheting off of the ground close to where the camera is recording.

I don't hear anything that conclusively tells me that there was two shooters.  The ricochets are not going to match up with the sound of the bullets being fired because he's spaying them around so not all the bullets are going to be hitting close to where the camera can pick the sound.  Plus some of them presumably hit people.  Either way it's fucked up. RIP to the victims.

TBF, history is littered with empires, dynasties, conquests, invasions, imperialism...etc. All these were done to increase power and wealth, expand and rule over people. It is part of the human psyche to want more. These concepts haven't gone away, it is now usually just done using different methods then before.
