seeing as you're a "big" mma guy just roll up to your nearest gypsy site and challenge all comers to a no holds barred bare knuckle fight for 5k.

if you lose and you don't have the money they'll probably keep you imprisoned as the site gimp. so it's a win/win for you really.

Don't spend any money on food, go dumpster dive behind whole foods, trader joes, and walmart, 1 or 2 hauls is enough food to last for months.

You need to educate yourself financially.

You need to do it so you don't end up having money problems anymore.

You can start right now by reading "The millionare next door", "Rich Dad Poor Dad", etc.

Read basic stuff about investment in Investopedia and the section Investing on Quora.com.

You're not gonna make 5k in a few weeks, but you can become wealthy on the long run.

Increase your income or reduce your spending, or a combination of both. Get a part time job to add to your income, review every dollar of spending and cut out anything that isn't absolutely necessary. Cable TV isn't necessary. A phone is, but the largest best data plan isn't. Prioritize your bills, if you can't pay them all, pay Credit cards last or not at all.

Yes get rid of cable, buy Netflix theres tons of awesome Steven Seagal movies on there to choose from. Eat like a college kid, tons of tuna, potato, rice, eggs. Sell some baseball cards on Ebay, sell old clothes to thrift stores, if you own a house sell it, and look into buying a tiny house.

Only place you can make as much as you want immediately is rideshare...Lyft or uber...

Job sucks but if you work and work and work...I mean 15 hours a day...youll have $5,000 in a month or so.

Probably 400 in gas.

You have seen lots of options in this thread, but without more data no one can give you informed advice.  Counsel that is inapplicable to your situation is useless.  What kind of debt do you have?  How much?  Be specific.  When is it due?  Again, be specific.  Why can’t you pay the bills?  Did you have a recent job separation or have you been unemployed for a protracted period?  Presumably you have no savings available to you.  Why not?  No family or long term friends to borrow from?

The bills you do mention (rent, car) are recurring so paying them now only means they will come back in a month.  What will you do then?  If borrowing from someone is one of your options, you have to be prepared to answer all of the above to your lender’s satisfaction… and you must do so with humility and with no attitude.  Since you have a car driving for Uber or a similar service would appear to be an option (assuming your vehicle is in suitable condition).  If you’ve seen the Muscle Escorting thread you know that is an option (assuming you are in good shape), but it is a very slippery slope and typically does not end well... do not go there if you can avoid it.

Over the last five months I have loaned money to two friends totaling $2300.  One paid me back in two installments.  The other is still making payments.  In each case, they answered every question I posed and articulated a viable path to repayment.  In your case, borrowing from Peter in order to pay Paul does not solve your problem as you are merely transferring the debt.  You need to trim your expenses, live below your means, and raise some extra money… perhaps in a temp job like waiting tables, working as a bartender (again being in shape helps), or driving for a ride sharing service.

As if you woke one morning 5k in the hole.  You could see at $500, $1000, etc, that what you were doing wasn't working yet you continued.  Now it's panic stations because creditors aren't going to carry your indigent ass anymore.

The good news is that you aren't going to die.  Just get a job and stop buying things you don't need.  That's it.  That's all you have to do.  By the time you get back to zero maybe you'll be a wiser man.  Or not since Nanny Dole will just bail you out but I still humbly suggest getting your shit together.

1. Loan? You the do a creative loan. Basically get 10 friends, borrow 500 from each. They pay back each over a period of time.
2.) live inside your means. Buy a car you can actually afford.
3.) work overtime or get a side hustle
