Of course they are.  After the blacklash from the last couple of oscars they’re now overblowing any black film.  

There were well-reviewed black films and black performances during the years when there were no black nominations. and there are lackluster white films that get fawning reviews all the time. but of course the only time a film is actually overrated is when it has a black cast and the only reason it can be overrated is BECAUSE it has a black cast.

Like some predominately caucasional films have a "magical negro" in them to help save the day and learn up whitey, will this film, "Black Panther" have a "magical caucasional" who will help to technofy the dark (in)continent?  I could give an intercourse either way.  I want to be entertained when I go to see a film.  I'm not there to be "educated" by Hollyweird libtards, I am there because the real world be gettin' me down, 'n' sheit.

If I see "Black Panther" but iffin' they aint no Magicul Cauxcasional in dis here filmz, den I sho' nuff iz ghonna leaves screamin at de top o' mah windbags, Cauxcasional livenz matterz.  'n' sheit.  NFW.  LIke I said, I go to the theater to be entertained.  The best films do just that.  Go watch the excellent film (I recommend the restored Criterion version) of "Sullivan's Travels".

I think the lead in this movie is the same young man that played the great James Brown in the recent film on his life.  That is enough reason for me to entertain seeing it.  He did an excellent job of portraying the hardest workin' man in show business.  The film did not get any Oscars that I know of (but then I don't watch the Oscars) but it did get my money.  That is how I reward filmakers.
