arching is ok, lifting butt off the bench is cheating. for the sport of bodybuilding, anything goes since the goal is to build mass, not strength

his squat was not as impressive as his deadlift, I think it was like 600 something pounds

one thing i have never seen is a video of him squatting with Arnold. Ed Corney sure but not Franco.

I've seen pics, he uses a shoulder width stance and goes all the way down to parallel level, with 405 lbs, like it's nothing

why not below parallel?(ok shoulder width stance you can´t really go ass to grass) i am sure he could have. post the pics bro...like i wrote never seen a pic of him & Arnold squatting.

ass to grass is unnecessary and very difficult, it required tremendous flexibility that most bodybuilders don't have (not everyone is as flexible as Platz)

Arnold was terrible at squats but did admit this doing front squats too. watch the video of him & ed corney squatting..ed had perfect form...Arnold was shit.
