Whatever you do, never live in a country run by blacks, besides being unable to run the country they could at any moment threaten to 'redistribute' all your property because you're white. Doesn't matter where you're from or if you legally bought the property recently.

Every country given over to black rule in Africa has gone to ruin and communism, they are simply incapable of running a country. Crime, poverty, murder, crumbling infrastructure and de-industrialization all dramatically increase under their 'leadership'.

In Thunder Bay, Canada.

My suggestion to anyone where rent is HIGH and property is LOW is to get into renting houses.  You can pick up houses in Thunder Bay for around $100,000 still, and easily get $1,250 in monthly rent [with utilities being paid for by the tenant].

Also, Thunder Bay has a very low cost of living, and very clear seasons.  I love the freezing winter.  It's nice to just stay inside during the winter.  I think it helps me compartmentalize my life, and just not think about how I schedule what I do over the course of the year.  Big city life is not for me.

To low to make a profit? What about tax and maintenance?

Coincidence that during the "independence period" communism and socialism were the ideologies promoted during the time? Just like with America?

I had relatives, and a few friends that settled in the Hilton Head area of SC, and they love it. Cost of living was good to great compared to the North East, weather was nice, and crime wasn't bad.

I do note that there is a lot of expansion going on it seems.

Also what's cold to you?

We have hurricanes though too... Matthew got us two years ago and Irma was pretty close last year. If he thinks Florida is humid he doesn’t want to be here lol. No clear water either. The ports flood the shores with murky water.

Communism and socialism are still the promoted ideologies in Africa. Instead of creating and focusing on developing new wealth they just want to take from others and 'redistribute' to get votes so the corrupt 'leaders' can continue to steal billions.

I live about 25 miles from Prime. He actually lives in a suburb of Portland that can consists of even higher percentage of whites. Over 90% white for sure, and it's a wealthy area.

I could do the RV thing for awhile. My Dad had a 32 ft winnie years ago that I would borrow for a weekend at the lake. But my wife isnt the RV type so that's out for the time being

I would rent yearly and move state to state starting in South Carolina and move southwest across the country.no interest in leaving the USA.

About 5 years out from retiring my plan was to live in different places for 6 months to a year at a time. And I think if I were single that is what I would do. I would put my things in long term storage and just find furnished places to rent from Southern California to the Virgin Islands to the Philippines. But with a wife and 2 yorkies (love them but damn they can ruin travel plans) I thought we would find a place for minimum a year at a time because moving is a huge pain in the butt and not cheap. And with the dogs who are 12 and 13 years old, the expense and pain of moving them out of the US is a factor. We took them to Playa Del Carmen Mexico with us for 6 weeks and the air fare to get them there in travel crates under the seat in front of us cost about the same as our own tickets.

We have friends that live in Newport Beach Ca and we've visited a few times. I loved the area, Laguna Beach, the outdoor activities and the mild weather. The rent is almost cost prohibitive as I'm not wanting to pay 4K a month for a 1200SF house. We could find a place a little bit south of there that is doable but having lived in Texas for decades before moving the Arkansas, the $800 bite each month for state taxes is annoying and California would be a little worse. I think if money wasn't an issue Southern California would be our next stop. We would rent, so if after a couple years it gets old, we'll try somewhere else.

Florida is on the list because there are no state taxes, the water is some parts is nice and the beaches pretty clean. Destin is our only experience other than catching a cruise out of Ft. Lauderdale. But from what I hear, 90 deg with humidity makes it feel like 100+ which I want to avoid. Austin would hit 105 on occasion and those days you just don't want to leave the house.

Another option is the rent something in Texas for around $1000 a month, then just do the 3 month rentals at various places. Anyone want a couple Yorkies?

Friend of mine bought a new RV, several slide outs, looks amazing inside. I think he paid $250K for it. To each his own but I wouldn't. But they do use it all the time and love the lifestyle so maybe it's worth it for them. I would buy used on one of those. The depreciation is pretty considerable

Agree... same for a super duty, Cummins or duramax. But if Traveling without kids I’d definitely go with the pull behind for reliability and easier maintenance.

Yeah.... welcome to being ripped off by the dindus everyday and having to deal with loud pale midwestern tourists from a floating buffet everyday.
Bermuda---I believe you have to have something to offer. Bahamas---I haven't heard that many bad things. Dominican Repub, even Trump saw potential in the country.
Americans from all regions are notoriously loud, rude and obnoxious, petty, and coddled. It's what we're known for.

matt what do you think of buying fixer uppers and then selling them at a higher price?

i think it seems like a faster way to make a good profit plus you don't have to deal with shit head tenants that go out of their way to destroy your property or not pay the rent on time
