Doubtful and saying that they've all succumbed to Stalinist effort to stifle free speech isn't going to help endear her to them

Someone should explain to her that she has all the rights to free speech that she had before

She just doesn't have a right to a TV show

In this country money = speech (the Supreme Court recently affirmed this) and people have a right to choose where to spend their money

People have every right to say I don't tolerate what you're doing. I don't agree with it. And I'm actually not going to buy your products. I'm not going to support your economic partners or your business partners.

They are doing this for PR reasons. Why wouldn't they be back? They more than likely will quietly come back. Just like Paula Deen's sponsors and Rush's. They play this game of distancing themselves and playing the "moral upperhand", but they are about making money. Now, if they find another person to sponsor, that is highly likely. But, we have seen this game before.

Deen is a southern racist "belle" who could cook, and plead ignorance on her racism. Because she was an older white lady with a following, when things died down, sponsors (maybe not all of them, and maybe not the originals ones) came back to her brand.

I just happened to watch (who knows why?) when Paula Deen was on Oprah, doing her heart-attack specials in the studio kitchen, and noticed Oprah seemed to be uncharacteristically reserved and almost unpleasant toward Paula at times. Maybe she knew someting the rest of us didn't at that time.
