I'm surprised that you were able to have much less use it in prison. But, what do I know? Almost nothing about prison life. Apparently, some private insurers cover stuff that the big insurers don't. Medicare advantage plans, such as I have, definitely won't cover any of the costs unless they is medically necessary. Fortunately, my urologist provides me a prescription test cyp and HCG and Arimidex I can buy on-line hassle free. -Not sure lung cancer and low testosterone equate.
I had "Medicare" or whatever it's called In 05 and they covered it. Prison medical is covered by the same. Blue shield PPO also covered HRT.
I believe when I got out of prison I paid something like 50 bucks out of pocket for the doctor's office visit along with $80 for the blood work which included some other s*** other than just simply testing testosterone, such as CBC and whatever else. It's been seven or eight years since I did it so I forget. And then I paid $70 for the bottle of cypionate at Walgreens with somewhat of a discount with some sort of Walgreens prescription discount card that I applied for online. Buy a plaid I mean you just sign up there's no real application or chance for denial. So all in all that bottle of test cost about $200 & I couldve gotten it $40 cheaper if I'd just gotten my test levels checked which only cost about $35 & im sure there Cheaper dr cost is in the $35 range. So, that's $140 total, once every 20 weeks, when you need a refill on test. Provided you're running just hrt-doses.
In prison you don't "have" it. You go to the medical building to get your injections every 2 weeks.
HCG is useless for HRT if you're getting test cup injections unless you're trying to get gyno or trying to have a baby. Whole point of using HCG is to get your body to produce testosterone, however if you're already injecting testosterone it's freaking pointless and you will only get Negative s*** such as gyno and acne.
All in all, it'd just be easier to buy black market test and even run double the dose.
I'll never understand why people don't just run 200 or even 300 mg per week testosterone for the rest of their lives except for when or if they want to have a child. The only reason for going off would be to have a child. The quality of life that dose of testosterone would provide greatly outweighs the negatives. Which are few. Hell you could go on vacation to Mexico and pick up a years worth of test and be set. Years worth would be 24-26 amps. I believe there's 2 amps in a box of Testoprim-D. Ive only had bad experiences with testoprim-d however,. The first quote unquote infection I ever had was from testoprimd back in 2001. S*** swelled up and inflamed my shoulder the point where I couldn't raise my right arm or shift a manual transmission (fuxked up my street racing plans for 2 weekends) and gave me a 100+ fever for a week.
I always much preceded Stem, which was 75mg cup, 25mg prop and 20mg DHEA (up till about '95 it was 20mg DHT I believe. I first got it about 97? After it was DHEA). It was cheap, at $1.70 a box containing 2 amps (200mg total). Each amp was 2ml, so it made for a decent product for site-injections, as 1000mg would be 20cc. 3cc in each rear delt, 2cc each medial/side delt, 2cc each bicep, 3rd each glute each week. Not sure if Sten (made by Astra I believe. "Stenox" was their version of Halotestin. 2.5mg tablets that cost I believe $12 for a box of 20? Tabs?)
Not sure if any 10ml bottles of test are available in Mexico anymore, human or vet. I'm sure you can still get vet grade stuff, which would cost $15-25 per bottle of assume. I'd be willing to bet you can find a bottle of test at a vet for $12, especially deeper into Mexico around. Vacation spots like Cancun, Acapulco, Oaxaca, Mazatlan, or Puerto Vallarta. The 10 mL bottles would be much easier to bring back across storing them in of course never in your carry-on stuff. Maybe a little bit more difficult to bring back crossed 50 2 or 54 ampules and having Customs not notice it in X-rays of your checked baggage. Even if you get caught the only thing that will happen most likely is they "charge" you(more like a traffic ticket) with what's called "failure to declare" and you get a $550 fine, which you can make payments on... Or not. If youndont pay, it'll just be brought up if you cross the boarder again, usually.
