Crossbow has a scope and probably more accurate to shoot at target.Ive used a cross bow years ago and would be waste of time as a mass casualty weapon.The crossbow i have used have a tight rope mechanism, i had to physically stand on the bow of cross bow and use alot of strength to get the rope into place to organise my next shot.

We're so much more free than you  Depending on the state. And weapons legislation isn't the problem dummy , States like Vermont have almost NO gun laws and have NO gun violence , same with New Hampshire , yet states with heavily legislated gun laws , Illinois and Maryland , LA , etc have a huge gun violence problem. That's your problem , you think one more law will solve problems , that Daddy Government is the solution. Next thing you know you need to be 18 in order to buy a fucking whisker

no you're not. feeling the need to carry a gun around to feel safe is not most sane people's idea of freedom. law abiding citizens in the UK generally don't feel that need. only criminals need guns for protection.

there are certain things that are prohibited in the states that aren't in the UK, anabolic steroids being one(BB related). you have no more freedom whatsoever. alcohol is still illegal in some regions in the states! you've just bought this bs line from the nra that "freedom" boils down to owning a gun. it doesn't. having so many guns in circulation is actually curtailing your freedom.

and it was one month(feb 18) that london had a higher homicide rate than new york...and you draw from that "you are now more likely to be killed in london than new york" ? crock of sht. what about every other month in recorded history ? also i would take a guess that new york happens to be one of the safer major US cities in terms of gun violence?

why not compare capital to capital. london to washington d.c  

gun laws aren't the problem per say. it's ease of access. tightening gun control laws would help to some extent. but unless you start taking measures to rid society of a large number of those already in circulation, the gun violence nightmare will not go away.

btw LA isn't a state and CA has one of the lowest gun death rates of all states.
